I think it goes like this: they can move past other characters without having to stop, but if they start next to someone, they still have to break away.
Only one successful break away roll is required to move away from all adjacent
opposing characters. Once a character successfully breaks away, you may move that
character through squares adjacent to every opposing character from which it broke
away; however, if the character enters a square adjacent to any opposing characters
to which the character was not adjacent when making the break away attempt, the
character must end its movement.
Flight allows you to ...
- move past or through characters when you are already moving, including giants but not including the Hypertime/Kingdom Come team ability
- ignore hindering, water, elevated and outdoor blocking terrain while moving for movement purposes
- carry other non-transporter, non-flying, non-giant, non-colossal, non-double based or non-duo characters (and for clarity's sake, non-double based transporter)
Flight does NOT allow you to ...
- carry other transporter, flying, giant, colossal, double based or duo characters (and for clarity's sake, double based transporter)
- break away for free
- ignore indoor blocking terrain
