PHANTOM ZONE PROJECTOR: Supernova can use Incapacitate and Phasing/Teleport. When Supernova uses Incapacitate and successfully hits an opposing character, he may either resolve Incapacitate normally or give no action tokens to the target and instead immediately put the target in any starting area 8 or fewer squares from himself.
So can I:
1. Incap one of the targets and teleport the other one away (to split up mastermind and his fodder for example)?
2. Teleport a target through walls/blocking terrain ect? (since it just says 8 or fewer squares away from supernova and it doesn't mention anything about being able to see the starting area)
3. Can I put the target anywhere inside the starting area? It just says that the starting area has to be 8 squares away from himself (Himself is supernova and not the targer right?). I guess it makes sense that the square I'm placing the target in has to be within those 8 squares...but you can interpred it either way
4. And just to make sure, I can place both targets (assuming i'd hit) in different starting area's if I would want too?
I can't find anything about this in the FAQ so I'm wondering if anyone here might know the answer(s)
Dude I really need to make sure I am understanding what I read. Because at first i thouhgt this was a lame power. But now after reading how it really works it's just plain nasty.
Agreed, RedDragon. I used it against mr-coffin in a game where we each opened a pack and played the contents. (points were close enough)
I parted his team like the Red Sea. HE used Running Shot from a rooftop, exactly 8 squares from my starting area, zapping 2 guys to my edge of the board. This put him exactly close enough to do it again the following turn, except send the target to the OTHER starting area. One of the most worthwhile pushes, ever.
I put over 20 squares between members of his team, and undid his whole positioning phase in 2 actions. Suddenly, I want to Compel him...
Thing is, I don't know what to do with that advantage in 300 points, when I'm spending nearly half of my team just on that trick.
is "starting area" the purple boardered starting areas that we are in at the beginning of a game or is it a square that is considdered a starting area after they are transported there?
