Ordinary Day still takes affect doesn't it?

You ignore the affects of a BFC towards your team. Ordinary Day affects the other BFC in question. That is how our judges have been ruling that. Ordinary Day still works against the other BFC. So, using a theme team ignore on Ordinary Day is a waste isn't it?

I usually play on Saturdays, so if someone has the answer to this--and can point it out somewhere (even better)--I'd greatly appreciate it. One judge is "I'm right because I'm the judge." Another judge, likes to be correct in his rulings, so if I can show him that he might be mistaken, then he doesn't have a problem with that.

Nope. If you ignore Ordinary Day, it's ignored for both people and doesn't take effect. They changed the rules on this in the last month or so.

Ordinary Day's effect is that it cancels one other BFC.

If both players ignore the effect of Ordinary Day, the other BFC's effect comes back in play.

That's how to explain it in the future.

The key change they made is from "ignore" to "cancel". BFCs are not ignored anymore as that was causing a lot of confusion. A theme team can cancel one battlefield condition per three games in a tournament. It is treated as if the BFC was never played.

Actually, they're still ignored. It's just that both players ignore the chosen BFC if a theme team player decides a BFC will be ignored.
