Daredevil #107 - Rated 7 - Matts still peeved at the world. Luke needs help with a guy he knows in prison. The guy admitted to killing 3 kids but it might not be true. Dakota starts looking into it and gets beat in the parking lot. She takes what shes learned to Matt he starts to look into i as well. Eh. Bring Milla back and Ill be happy.
X-Force #4 - Rated 8 - Rahne wakes up and KOs Elixer and rips
Angels wings off. She under control of the Purifiers! Theyuse the wings which are made from Apoc to give metal wings to thier soldiers. Meanwhile Angel regrows metal wings AND blue skin and all the other Archangel stuff! Uh oh! Fairly decent read though I think Logan over-reacted on X at the start.
Uncanny X #498 - Rated 8 -So the "goddess" is really Masterminds other daughter or something. Scott and Emma find her but they get ambushed by X-Hippies. Oh and Wolvie and crew escape thier confines but meet Omega Red.. Uh oh!
Thor #9 - Rated 9 - I really like this series so far. I really like the little humorous bits. Like the guy coming to woo Kelda. And the Asgardians trying to learn Basketball. Anyways, Loki begins to spin lies and deciet, especialyl on Beldar one of Thors friends!
New Avengers #41 - Rated 7 - Some witty dialogue. In this issue some past events are shown to be Skrull in origin. All told through flash back from Kazar to Spidy.
GA Aston X #1 - Rated 8.5 - While I really liked the story I'm nt keen on Kitty being "Lost in Space" and possibly dead. But as predicted she saves the world by phasing the whole missle. I also liked that Brand turns out to be an alien (half) and lusts for Beast. And shes not shy about admitting it. I hope she stays around, and hey a chick that finally wants to be with Beast!
Wolvie 1st Class #3 - Rated 7 - Still a great book. Wolvie and Kitty go to Wundergore to trakc Magneto but find the New Men and the High Evo. HE's arch nemsis has returned and Kitty gets turned into a Catgirl.
YA: Stature #5 - Rated 7 - Statue, while fighting a villian accidently hurts her step-dad and she freaks. Her friends calm her down and everything is happy again. Not the best issue in this series but eh...
Ms. Marvel #27 - Rated 8 - Again the best humor comes from Machineman. Anyways, The Skrull prisoner blows up or something and lots of Agnets die. Carol goes to visit Simon Williams and just decides to jump his bones, cause she just doesnt want to deal with day-to-day BS right now. So ooohh drama in-coming.
Ultimate Spider-Man #122 has Peter captured by the Shocker. It was a little sad seeing someone like him get the drop on Spider-Man, but since he's a kid I suppose I can let it slide. He roughs up Peter while MJ finds Kitty and tells her about how Peter was captured right in front of her. Kitty goes to a police officer and they track down the Shocker to the usual abandoned warehouse lair. While that was going on, Peter managed to struggle free and Kitty keeps Peter from pulping Shocker's face. The cops show up and wrap things up. We also get an interesting origin story for the Shocker which almost makes me feel a bit sympathetic to him. Almost.
Yeah its good to see that Martinique Jason is still alive...she was always the "good" sister. (Still hoping that Lady Mastermind didn't get killed) I just don't understand when the X books are taking place anymore.
Wolverine, Colossus and Nightcrawler are captured by the red room. Wolverine is also on a team with Warpath to rescue Wolfsbane and put a stop to the purifiers. Now Angel has turned back into archangel (THANKYOU ELIXIR!!) but hes also trapped in masterminds illusion in San Fransisco as regular Angel. I really can't figure out the timing.....at least Legacy is on point.
No comments on 1985? I think this series is going to be a good one personally.
As for NA, it had a few interesting bits. Like telling that they had agents in the NA from the start. (Plurral.) So it looks like Spider-Woman was swapped out pretty early on, and Jarvis' green eyes in NA 3 were intentional.

From what I was told, if you read the latest NA, then you should also re-read the "Breakout" TPB. It supposedly makes more sense of the two when they're combined as a "fresh read". So, more secrets can be revealed.

So... she wants to do the beast with The Beast ??? Good for him, I hope.

But... wasn't Simon supposed to be revealed as a Skrull this issue? Or is it in the next issue?

Like, "The Sentry is really cool and you should all believe we meant to have him be one of the original Marvel heroes?"
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

No, I meant secrets about the Skrull invasion.
My take on it is, anyone dressed as they were in the 1970's is either a Skrull or in desperate need of a tailor. Except Spidey, whom I only wish were a Skrull
I would rate Daredevil and X-Force the other way around.
X-Force I didn't care for. The characters are still so out of character, and I don't like the ending where they turn Angel back into Death (in appearance at least). I'm betting that X-Force, as a series, will have no ramifications on the other X-Titles, and will basically exist outside continuity by the time it's done, or everything that happens in it will be undone.
Daredevil I really liked. Matt being so lost that he actually punched Luke Cage and broke his own hand was funny, and a good portrayal of Matt's state of mind. And then Dakota finally getting sick of him being so sad and sorry about Milla, and him finally waking up about that and going to help the guy out. I just loved it, because it looks like it's leading to something good, and I was really getting sick of emo-Matt being "waaaghhh. My wife is crazy now. I'm gonna beat everyone up and cry."
HeroClix needs more Goblin.
Acceptable in such forms as Green, Grey, Demo, Hob, Ultimate, and "Menace."
Anybody pick up Immortal Iron Fist # 15 this week ?
I passed it over because they just had the big ending to the first arc and this looked like another history lesson of a past Iron Fist.
Exactly right. It's the story of Bei Bang-Wen (or something like that) and how he led an army to their deaths and lost his connection to Shou Lao in his grief and self-anger. He was taken by the British to India where he became a prisoner and met another Immortal weapon who had failed his king and lost his connection to his god in his own grief and self-anger. Having so much in common, they orchestrated a rebellion in the prison, broke free, and made there way to find the other guy's king. They broke into the fortress where he was being held, only to find Tiger Jani, another weapon, who tries to kill them both. The other guy gets his connection to his god back and fights back. Bei doesn't get his powers back, but fights back anyways. He gets fatally wounded, but the other guy finishes the fight, and helps Bei get his connection to Shou-Lao back, right before he's about to die. The chi of Shou-Lao heals him, and he returns to K'Un-Lun, gives up the power of the Iron Fist, gets married, has children, and rights his story in the book of the Iron Fist, but the one he writes ends with him dying in battle with his men, before any of the events of this issue happened.

Have you guys seen how well X-Force is selling? That thing is going to be sticking around Supergirl style.
And this is only somewhat related, but have you ever wondered if Marvel has no idea how to run their company? Here's some major proof.
If you can't tell what's wrong right away, check out the explanation on the bottom of the page where it came from. Also, you should probably start reading more often.
