I'm holding a Superhero themed Murder Mystery party for my Birthday this year.

Not everyone I'm inviting is a comic book nerd like us.

I was wondering if anyone can give me some hero and villain examples of the following TYPES of characters/costumes.

Insect style hero:

Powers of Fire:

Powers of all things Nerdy:

Magical Rap Lyric Powers (???):

Genies or something (powers of wishes):

Jester/Clown:

Sterotypical powers of being fabulous:

I need about four or five good examples of each category.

I need examples for both males and females, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Powers of Ice: Iceman, Blizzard, Icicle, Ice, Polar Boy

Insect style hero: Ant-man, Yellowjacket, Wasp, Spider-Man, Tarantula

Powers of Fire: Human Torch, Fire, Sunfire, Sun Boy, Firebrand, Heat Wave

Powers of all things Nerdy: Oracle, Calculator, Iron Man

Magical Rap Lyric Powers (???): Etrigan he Demon (well, he's magical and known to speak in rhyme) Dr Strange (old style rhyming spells)

Genies or something (powers of wishes): Johnny/Jakeen Thunder, Beyonder

Jester/Clown: Joker, Joker's Daughter, Riddler, Jester, Trickster, Prankster

Sterotypical powers of being fabulous: Not sure what you mean by this one...

Powers of Ice: Ice, Iceman, Killer Frost, Icicle, Captain Cold, Mr. Freeze, Polar Boy, Blizzard

Insect style hero: Wasp, Antman, Blue Beetle,

Powers of Fire: Human Torch, Efigy, Ghost Rider, Wildfire, Firestorm

Powers of all things Nerdy: Mr. Terrific, Mr. Fantastic, Oracle, Calculator, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord)

Magical Rap Lyric Powers (???):Etrigan, Zatanna

Genies or something (powers of wishes): Jakeem Thunder, Mephisto, Neron

Jester/Clown: Joker, Trickster, Slapstick, Ambush Bug, Mxy

Sterotypical powers of being fabulous: John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr.

Sterotypical powers of being fabulous: Jenny Sparks, Dazzler

Powers of Ice: Jack Frost, Ymir, Frozone

Insect style hero: Insect Queen, Odd John, Bug

Powers of Fire: Human Flame, Firefly, Arson Fiend, Jack of Flames, Surtur

Powers of all things Nerdy: Calculator is an even better idea if you use his original costume, Quentin Quire (Kid Omega) maybe?

Magical Rap Lyric Powers (???): Well there have been a few characters whose style or language had hip-hop influences (a few of the Milestone characters - Static, Blood Syndicate) come to mind, but none of them had powers that had anything to do with rap music. I think you'd have to make somebody up for this one. The other suggestions are quite a stretch, but they're probably as good as you can get.

Genies or something (powers of wishes): Glorian, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Bat-Mite, Dr. Destiny (kind of a stretch)

Jester/Clown: Pierrot Lunaire, The Clown (Circus of Crime), Harlequin (female character!)

Sterotypical powers of being fabulous: Emma Frost, The member of Japan's Young Super Team, as soon as we find out who they all are ("All my life I've waited to be a gimmick.
