So the question is. Does Nightshaded Special power Trigger mystic damage to her?
FROM THE LAND OF NIGHTSHADES: Nightshade can use Smoke Cloud. If an opposing character ends its turn occupying a square containing a hindering terrain marker placed by Nightshade, that character is dealt 2 damage.
I want to say yes, but there are circumstance where powers used do not activate Mystic Damage (I.E. Force blast Knock back into a wall or off a roof. now the wall is doing the damage)
I believe Mystics damage is triggered only by an attack.
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

Another circumstance is incap-he recieves a token and is dealt pushing damage, now if you crit hit the incapper takes mystic damage, though lets see the mystic TA:...............
edit: cant bring the TA up from the units section.
Yeah, somebody sure cut through that fence alright....
It looks like the same reason Mastermind doesn't trigger Mystics. An Attack Roll has to be made against the figure possessing Mystics in order for the retaliation to occur.
If you let them kill your dreams, it'll haunt you.

Since there is already a Nightshade thread, I'll hijack it (and no one will ever know).

Are you allowed to stack the smoke cloud tokens in a pile, all 4 pieces in the same square, under the opponent's character? Making them take 8 damage?
Smoke Cloud reads that the pieces must be placed adjacent to each other, and adjacent usually means "next to"... but a good friend told me that not only is thispossible, but was errataed specifically so this would work.
Just wanted to check if someone was joshing him, or if this is the wonkiest rule ever.
Thanks for your time.
No, you cannot stack smoke tokens on top of each other to do additional damage. Even if you could place them on top of each other, damage is not cumulative. You can only do 2 damage per character per Nightshade with this power (if you had 2 Nightshades, you could do 2 damage twice to a character).
