if i put pounce on elektra SI, did she take the pushing domage by pounce, or it will be ignored?

POUNCE
Prerequisites: Leap/Climb and a damage value of 1 or 2

Choose a character.

Give the character a power action. Move the character up to its speed value and make a close combat attack as a free action. After resolving the attack, the character takes 1 unavoidable damage.

Elektra takes the damage, indomitable only prevents pushing damage. Pounce does not give pushing damage.

I see BTW why you think Pounce gives pushing damage as it is worded like that on the Mutant Mayhem Feat card, but the card has been re-worded and reprinted in Origin to unavoidable damage

Just go to the Units section and look it up under Origin.

It's not really an errata, but more a rewording when they reprinted the card, some other reprinted cards also have some minor text changes.
If you look at the units section on this forum (see link on top of the webpage) and type in Pounce, it will show you both the cards. Always use the wording of the newer card.

Always when a card or power says unavoidable, you will have to take the damage even if you have indomitable, willpower, impervious or other defense powers (I believe there are some loopholes, but I am sure another player will point that one out).
Indomitable is still a good power, it goves your character permanent willpower and keeps the defense for other powers.

The way I understand and have seen others who are more knowledgeable rules people than me say indomitable does NOT take damage from Pounce. If you search the rules forum you will several other older threads about this same issue.

I have to agree for simhenk is correct. Indomitable does not prevent unavoidable damage. So take your click Elektra As for haymaker and nova blast since they were never re-made they will not take pushing damage when using those two feats.

I believe the reasoning is it says take 1 click that ignores willpower and team abilities. Indomitable is neither willpower or a TA. I think this goes against the spirit of the feat. Of course that is because indomitable came out after the feat and it was never errata'd.

Yes thats the reason why they would not take damage from nova blast or haymaker. But since pounce was re-made it's wording changed from pushing damage to unavoidable so indomitable will still take a click after using pounce.

Just for info: the Player Guide lists all the feat cards and their current wording (as well as erratas and clarifications).

And the player's guide also says this:
"Any Feat cards that are published with the same name as a previous one override all of the text on the previously published card."
