Just want to know what isane bagains you've traded or brought in a shop or ebay or even a discounted booster with a chase in it. I dont really have any except i brought 6 AA boosters for £1.99 and got

And although not strictly relevent i feel i have to tell you how i started collecting. I had a small group of friends who where into these funny little figures i played a few games and have always been into collecting things.
I went into a comic shop and thought ill buy a couple of boosters 1xDC which was collateral damage the other 1xMarvel, this was to decide what to collect DC or Marvel. The CD booster nothing that special unique crimson avenger, the marvel had a unique superskrull and a.......Zombie Wolverine i had know idea of value or anything like that my friend who posts as MikeH was pretty amazed and now i know how lucky that was i sold it to him so i could get a proper collection going (I collect both DC and Marvel now). Heroclix got me into comics not the other way round, which i think is why im so glad its back.

For me I purchase over a dozen each of CR Supermen and AA Batmen chases for around $11.67 each.

I got a case of 12 Invincible Collector Set for $12.50

If I have any left. I used most of them for local prize support and the rest I traded here for older LEs I was missing. I know there was a lot of HcRealmer who got a chase from me.

Best deal I ever got was trading a SR Lobo and Crisis Nightwing for a Sinestro Corps Batman.

Best part of this deal is everyone was happy.

Uh I got chase spider-woman and chase susan richards for $63 shipped. That was nice. I forget other stuff that I got for good deals I've gotten a lot.

i got e-2 ans spider woman for 95 from my local store. i also got magog, lois lane(chase), stilt-man, man o steel, sarah(marrow le..she rocks) and the arashi le for 66 bucks shipped!!

About a month after Clobberin' Time came out ole Nightcrawler was THE peice to have. The first, and still arguably the best, Marvel fig with HSS.

I played in a tournament where I used OW@W Superman (remember him?) and decimated this 16 or 17 y/o. Poor guy never stood a chance. He was foaming at the mouth over OW@W Superman, of which at that time I had 3, and wanted to trade me for him.

I said, sure...whatcha got? He immediately pulled out Nightcrawler and offered him straight up for OW@W Superman.

*Jaw drop*

I look at the Judge, a good friend of mine, and I look back at the "kid" and explained to him how good Kurt is and how easy (for $5) it is to get OW@W Superman...he wouldn't listen to reason. I then walked over to the store owner, another good friend, told him the deal. He tried to talk him out of it.

Nope, he was going to a friends house later that day and wanted to use OW@W Superman.

So...I said, "You sure?" and he thrust Nightcrawler out at me, "Straight up!"

That is how I got a $75 Nightcrawler for a $5 OW@W Superman. (prices reflect the time of trade)

Back before Armor Wars came out, I won the Ultimates Iron Man for $9.99 off of E-Bay (he was averaging over $20.00 at that time). I thought that was a pretty good deal, then a guy offered me his still sealed KC Green Lantern straight up for it, as it was the only Iron Man he needed to finish his collection. I of course took it.

I've gotten some pretty good deals through guys I know. I bought one guys collection for $600.00 I kept about 1000 figures for myself (including some high end U/LE/SR and most of the Colossals) and have since (bit by bit) sold off the rest for about $2000.00 (give or take) I still have over 1000 figures (mostly C/UC/R and REV) that I have yet to list/sell.

I don't have a lot of money so I have had to maximize on trading the best as I could to amass my collection.There was a local venue that held tournaments that I was 1 of only 2 people to show so a prize was a given.

I would trade this "new hotness" for 2 or 3 older uniques or super rares.I remember I traded the Supergirl SR from Origins for 4 Origins Unique's the Brick Fate fig and 3 big Vets(Miracle,Shazzam,Cyborg Superman).

I bought an entire set of Cosmic Justice R/E/V/U/LE and an entire set of Unleashed R/E/V/U/LE for $104 shipped. Twice I lucked out on random lots the most recent from the former Wizkids employee who got $500 for the #1 Skrull or whatever. I bought a random lot of LEs that included Dr. Karla Sofen, Natasha Romanoff CT, as well as 4-5 other $20-30 figs and others. I think 25 total LEs. A few years ago I got a mixed lot that was from a pawn shop or something. That advertised the Hulk, Batman, and Spider-Man. The pictures showed Legacy boxes and so forth. Well there was 45 clix and it seemed like one of those cheesy lots. I won it for $25 and wish I could have framed it. Remember this was years ago when these figures I'm about to list were worth alot. Parallax(x2), Promo KC Flash, Promo KC Green Lantern, BIBTB Venom, Halley Barry Catwoman, Crome Silver Surfer, Chrome Nova, Promo Mongul(x2), Promo Ares, Regular Ares, Robot Superman(x2), Dark Knight Detective, Regular KC Green Lantern, Tony Stark LE, Connor Kent LE, Johnny Alpha Promo, Icons Batman Promo(x2), Spider-Man Promo(x2), Tsami Hulk, Rampaging Hulk, Armor Spider Man, "Leaping" Spider Man(x2), Arwyn w/ Wolf, Man of Steel, and the list goes on. My brother and I were floored each time we opened a new box. They were all sealed p in boxes alot in the wrong box actually. The advertisement showed the Spideys, Batman, and Hulks in the foreground with a bunch of boxes behind them stating figures inside and sorry lots of multiples of the same characters. This same E-Bay shop had a mixed lot that shgwed a KC Hawkman and Nimrod right on top a pile of clix that offered hundreds of clix of every rarity. After a few of his auctions catching good publicity from people like me who "share the wealth" it went for a couple hundred. I'm glad I at least got one great buy. This was before Avengers so these figures were very high dollar.
Before the great chase price fall I ran up on the "goddess" can't remember her first name but that's the last part of her E-Bay tag who sold me both Supes for $120 and both SI Chase for $75. I also got the Origin chases I needed for $30-35.
I then traded with a member here to get the Zombie chases I needed for my extra Batman and Superman chases since I pulled them. I alos bought both Batman chases for $110 before the fall.
Good Luck and good people have allowed me to complete my collection at a very affordable price. Shoot when Wizkids lost my brother's Dark Beast Rose said she'd see want she could do for me. A week later I got a Starro and Dark Beast. Used the Starro to trade for 2-3 more Robot Superman figs. Can't remember but know I'm up to 14 now.

Just snagged a foom for 20 bucks shipped off evilbay.

I just got 2 cases of Secret Invasion for $119 shipped. If I pull a chase or couple of Avengers skrulls it was a good deal. There's a few nice rares in the set as well. I can't pass up a deal like that especially with Clix getting second life there will be plenty of newbies in need of clix and I'll be there with super good bargains for them.
