Before anybody could respond, a hidden laser turret popped out of a hidden panel in the wall and opened fire. Hal quickly erected a force field and then blasted the turret with his power ring.

Libra has sent a recon team to assess the strengths/weaknesses of the new JLA Cry for Justice team. Are they truly more ruthless and proactive? It is for these three villians to determine.
Zoom - a mixed up nutbag whose agenda is to make every hero better by kicking the nads outta them.
Hector Hammond - a super evolved genius with too many paraphelias to mention. Did I mention it's only his gargantuan head that's evolved? yeah, he's sensitive about it.
Omac - a rebellious teenage robot trying to find someplace to belong.

Yeah Zoom can be scarey....but in the last few games of playing him i've quickly discovered that damage shield and elevated terrain are not my friends! not much he can do when he can't get next to anyone worthwhile.

heh heh...that's what i get for not reading the entire post. i didn't realize atom sat at a 22 defense.......i guess i lucked out with that 12 to force a reroll! d'oh! me and zoom need to slow down and not be so eager to take my turn.
edit: i also forgot to note that Omac was able to move because of said PC..token was removed so that he could move same turn.
