Finished the Martian a couple of weeks ago and just finished the Firestorm. I also made some dials for them which I think is just as much fun as making the custom.
* I actually forgot to add something to Firestorm. Wonder if anyone will notice.

Attack - Powers of the Nuclear Man: Firestorm can use Energy Explosion, Incapacitate, Psychic Blast and Barrier. Damage - Transmutation: Once per turn Firestorm may use Outwit against an opposing adjacent figure (you may ignore the effects of hindering terrain for this action) or give Firestorm a power action and target an opposing adjacent figure; you may cancel one power, ability, trait or team ability for the remainder of the game (The effects of this action stay even if Firestorm loses Transmutation).

Speed - "I gave my heart to the league...": Martian Manhunter can use Stealth and Charge. Damage - "You should be dead!": Martian Manhunter can use perplex but can only target opposing characters.
Black Lantern Team Ability: Whenever a member of this teams KOs an opposing character except another Black Lantern team member, every character possessing this team ability heals one click. This team ability can't be used by wildcards.
Some might think the powers are a little strong, but I think they are very threatening and fairly accurate with the current storyline.
Of course I welcome any comments and/or suggestions with the Customs or the dials.
I noticed that almost all Black Lanterns have the power of regeneration - even cut off arms or head or legs or half body, they do regenerate back to full. Look at Terra, Max Lord, Zor-El for example. so why not put regenerations as a trait?
I was expecting to see some custom mods seeing this posted in Artisan's Guild. I think as of late I have seen more custom dials in Dreams and Desires.
Regardless... I am impressed!
Not sure about the point values as usual. But the powers and abilities are fairly comic accurate. I love comic accurate clix. The team ability is spot on! Great idea.
I was kinda expecting a bit more regen/life stealing. But these guys still need to be able to be defeated rather easily. So, I'd be leaning more towards giving them life stealing and saving the regen for the TA. I guess, maybe, as part of the BL TA, it allows them to use life stealing when not using any other power with the melee attack. Also, I kinda expected more willpower or indomitable. Hard to balance out comic accurate with over powered sometimes. But then again, they are only 'dead' versions of the living ones being controlled by the rings... so giving them anything more that what you have already would be pushing OP in my mind.
Oh!!! A very important thing. None of the Black Lanterns should be able to be mind controlled. This needs to be a trait!
RE: BL Firestorm
I am disappointed that the version WK gave us of Firestorm isn't even halfway as good as what you made. Kudo's again on good dial design. I think the transmutation ability for outwitting a single power is on the almost overpowered side. I'd suggest finding a way to limit it. Maybe cause Firestorm to loose a click when outwitting a power for the rest of the game. Sorta like Red Skull's cosmic cube power.
Man... now that I see it, I am wishing that EE and Incap worked in combo together.
I guess since they are Black Lanterns I would have thought of their powers or stats a bit differently. The are not really zombies but re-animated bodies controlled by Necron through the rings... so here is what I think. The powers should be similar, but not a full strength as when the character was alive and at their peak.
The only other thing I think should be considered - this might be complicated but it would make it more comic accurate. ALL the Black Lanterns should have something like Inside Information built into the characters. Might have to make it a trait as well.
The idea being that any keyword they would have possessed while living - they now get a +2 AV bonus when attacking someone that has a keyword that they had while living. I don't know exactly how best to apply the idea. Maybe give the BLs all the same keyword for their 'living' versions - but make it clear that they cannot be used on Team Theme versions for the keywords of the 'living' type. That is, simply to say that they can only be used on Theme Teams of BL and monsters.
Keep it up!
Now I am awfully curious and I gotta go find picts of the mods you made.

The stats are actually quite bad for the points. The powers are spot-on, but the stats are not, which I think represents their corpse-ness quite well.

to be honest, Firestorm's special power is WAY too overpowered....does it end if FS is KO'ed? if not, then it's just plain ridiculous. if it said "Once per game, Firestorm may..." or take some damage or something...as it stands..too much.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing

But would you pay 130 points for him if he didn't have that power? I don't think so. His dial compensates for the interesting power.
Great work on the sculpt of Firestorm and Martian Manhunter.
Regarding the stats, your firestorm is a bit too powerful. Transmutation that can cancel a trait is a great idea, but uncalled for. Very creative though.
Martian Manhunter is too undepowered for a 175 point figure.
The original Fantastic 4 TA as the Black Lantern TA, very nice.

I like the concept of the inside information, but you would have to make it specific to teams and/or characters. OR I could just add teams they were on for their keywords and make you buy more Inside Informations.

I didn't even think about it. I actually haven't read any of the books yet. Just searched for a lot of references pics and background on powers etc.
Do you think perma-regen would be too power?
I have thought about putting an extra click of Steal energy randomly on the dial, but it just didn't fit on these two. Maybe on one of the next few I do.

At first I thought it would be to powerful, but I thought about game situations. For Firestorm to use this power:
1) He must be adjacent
2) It is a power action so someone has to be dumb enough to base him with a figure with really good powers etc or you have to move and hope FS doesn't take a hard hit or is outwitted and then he has to push to take the action.
I see it like a stealthed outwitter that outwits a character repeatedly, but outwits any power that pops up which is a lot more powerful and abusive. Transmutation isn't so great if you just outwit Impervious, but the character takes a hit and now has Invulnerability.
Also I thought it would be nice to have a character that can counter abusive copy teams. Transmutate the Batman or Mystic team ability?
Powerful? Yes Too Powerful? In my opinion No
But I ask anyone who is curious to print out the dial and try to play it and let me know what happens.
