So I have one Bat Enemy with 11AV (the SR Joker from AA) adjacent to a wildcard lending it his 11. This wildcard, (hmmm... who's really pathetic? let's say... V Puppet Master) wants to share this 11 with Daredevil, who is only adjacent to Puppet Master. Can it be done?
I was wondering if after the "use" vs "possess" rule weakening the wildcards...they now are useless in the daisy chain for sharing AV and DV?
Is this correct?
Or... if there is one "possessor" in the chain, can they all pass the AV or DV of that "possessor" along?

Thx!
WC's can not lend out the values b/c they do not possess the TA to lend it out.
They can recive it b/c they can use the TA.

So basically yes wildcards have pretty much become useless for the daisy chain. The only part of a chain a wildcard can be on is the end since it can't lend anymore which means E Ultron from IC has lost its one final use as part of an AV chain with his 13 attack not that anyone used it anymore anyway.

yeah, too bad, but I wouldn't say that E Ultron's only use was to lend that AV, he still holds up pretty good even today for his cost especially!

...unless they have some way to 'double up'.
For instance, Shadow Lass can copy the JSA TA to receive a DV, then share it through her Defend power.
Similarily, the LE Henchman can copy the Sinister Syndicate TA and receive Bullseye's 11 AV, and then share it with another Batman Enemy since he also possesses the Batman Enemy TA.

Not exactly useless, as they can still copy DV's, they just can't share it. But if that Wild Card has the Defend standard power, it can now share it's Replacement Defense Value, as replacement values can be shared via Defend.
In my opinion, I'm glad the new rule change was instituted. It cuts down on the cheese, and makes the game more comic-book like. To say that a wild card character has the same vibe while working with a bunch of of members of another team wouldn't be comic-book accurate. There has to be a balance in game design, and the new Wild Card rule more perfectly balances the game.

Exactimundo. Well said. The IC Ultron, even though he's considered a deprecated figure, is still useful regardless of being able to share is AV or not. Any character that has a 13 AV with a 3 Damage Value, and 10 Range is not useless. (But I don't find any characters useless, I can find a purpose for any figure on my team).

Exactly. I touched on this as well in my reply. (But I still remember our intense debate on the Henchman and his TA's, in which Harpua and I were the minority on).
