Exiles Turn 1:

The Exiles are pacing about the crystal palace, bruised and battered from their defeat at the hands of the Kang manipulated Avengers. They failed to save that dimension, and unless fate intervenes, it is doomed.

They look about, and their number has changed.

Sprite and Power Princess did not come back with them.

Blink: This is the cost of our failure, we lose trusted allies as punishment for our loss.

Morph: But don't we always operate as a group of six? I only count, you, me, Havok, and Mimic, with Nocturne in crystal stasis.

Mimic: I'm sure we'll get some new recruits soon, for now, we just have to try to man up on the next one. The Tallus says that we are going to stop some vampires and sorcerors that have messed with some fancy evil book.

Morph: The Necronomicon?

Mimic: No, The Darkhold.

Havok: I hate vampires.

Morph: This mission bites!

Havok: Idiot.

Mimic: Alright, it seems like almost none of us are in any real condition to go, and I don't want to risk any of you being turned into vampires in your beaten up condition. Blink, you and I will go, and hope the Timebroker sends us a new recruit or two to help out.

Blink and Mimic walk through the teleporter, and end up in a demolished version of Xavier's school. Neither of them having attended in their own realities, it isn't as big of a blow as it could have been to others.

They look around as it begins to rain, and rain heavily.

A lightning bolt crashes from the sky right in front of them, and there appears a man who could only be described as a deity of some sort.

Thor: Ho, mortals! I have been cast out by my father, Odin to adventure and see what Midgard has to show one of the Asgardians. It is a sign from he, that I appear before ye two. I surely must travel with you. Who might you be?

Blink: I am Blink, and this is Mimic. You sure are in for an adventure. We are the Exiles. Dimension hopping heroes who bounce from reality to reality, trying to repair time and space.

Thor: ...

Mimic: Yeah. It's a lot to take in. We are here to fight evil monsters and wicked sorcerors. That sound like a quality learning experience?

Thor: Battle! They shall know the gift of combat, as only the God of Thunder himself can bring! Let these mortals whom have consorted with the Dark Elves feel the power of THOR!

Blink: Hmm.... Sorcerors, vampires, and a snake monster? Makes you miss back when we just fought mutants. Cal, you want to get rid of the green dressed one before she brings in something worse for us to fight?

1: Mimic flies over to K9 using the speed of Northstar, blasting out with Cyclops' eyebeams at the sorceress from K8, rolling a, (5,5) 10 for 3 damage, and knockback to H3, bouncing off the wall there, for another 1 click. 1 SA to Mimic.

Mimic: I wonder if maybe they work with Kulan Gath? We fought him before. Maybe this is his revenge.

Blink: Probably not. This isn't medieval enough. There's a voodoo chick over there. Just be glad Morph isn't here, he'd be looking for their book and Klattu Barada Niktoing it. I'll cover the Wicked Witch of The West here.
