So I tried my first Mega-Mega crossover game today...
Has anyone else tried it out yet? I honestly can't recommend that you do, if your experience is anything like mine. I will never attempt such a massive, futile undertaking again. Everything went horribly wrong from the first round, the whole game was a disaster...
To start out, I had an all Hypersonic Speed team (NOT recommended!) and could'nt seem to take full (if any) advantage of this power. HS has to be the WORST power to use in Mega-Mega Games, I couldn't even move out of my starting area yet alone arrange a move and attack.
Then, on my opponent's first turn he used the Human Torch's Pulse Wave attack (using Nova Blast) which resulted in the map imploding and the table buckling under the pressure of such an insane attack against so many figures.
I thought that our Mega-Mega game with the sheer quantity of characters on the same map we'd be playing for hours, but the game lasted less than 3 minutes... what a let down!!!
Please share your Mega-Mega Heroclix battles here for the rest of us to read.
After reading, am I the only who thinks it might actually be kind of fun to do a game like that? Rank after rank of characters would produce some interesting tactics. I would think it would be fun to give that a go for a few hours.

No, you are not. I have had this dream before.

Has anyone tried this for real? I'm seriously considering this to try out the new figures a bit on Wednesday when BatB drops, so I'd love to know how many actions per turn are recommended.
Yes, I know it's a joke, but it just seems like over-the-top insane fun.
I have thought of this in theory, but I would say NO FEATS ALLOWED to avoid nova blast abuse. I would also do 1 action for the first turn 2 actions for the second turn etc. so you don't lose half your team on 1 turn.
Not a ton of thought was put into the game format considering it was a joke, but I do want to try it some time using no characters over 100 points.

No such need. In this "format" you're just as likely to blast yourself as the other side. In fact, early game it's guaranteed you'll hit yourself as well as the other player.
