question about gl/flash duo and their perplex...

if they perplex their damage up and make a duo attack is the second attack at minus one to the perplexed value or the original value?

The perplexed value unless they critical miss on the first attack and lose perplex.

Unless they got damaged on the first attack, they would still have the Perplex.

(Or is there something in this unquoted power I haven't looked up which would work differently from other Perplexes?)
