I mentioned on the Wizkids page on FB that the UK didnt get War Machines and if anyone had a spare I would like to trade....

One person (who shall remain nameless, but obviously thinks I have no idea on trade values!) asked for the following in exchange for a free figure......

black adam and shazam

flashes
super man & flash

eny othere rare or sr form brb"

I told him i had a spare Black Lantern Manhunter, which he jumped at... I offered him that or a Zombie Hulk..... He chose the Manhunter!

I then told him I thought the trade was lopsided, and I should give him more, so he asked which SRs i had from TB&TB(!!!)

So I offered him the choice of Black Adam & Shazam, Superman & The Flash or the Complete Lantern set.

The only reason I am posting this is for new players who may look to trade from other places!

One of the best things i have found from HCRealms is that "generally" people arent looking to rip you off, although there will always be someone who will try and rob you blind!! I may offer to throw a Galactus his way, just to make sure the trade goes through!!!

Good lesson to be learned. Next time, tell the person about HCrealms and invite them to join the site.

Then again, there are certain traders that drive for a hard bargain, sometimes ridiculously. That's when it's time to get out of Dodge and find a new person to trade with, because no one likes to be on the short end of a bad deal.

If this is the list they typed, I'd definitely be careful because the spelling is as bad as lojo's.

Yeah, there are those people out there, especially a guy by the name of Damien Kochones (sp?) on facebook (he's best known as lojo here, but has a bunch of dummy accounts).

Then again, I carried out a couple of really great trades (for both parties) on facebook. Because of that I'm just starting to trade here on the realms.

I don't know about you guys, but I've used Domsday to great effect on a team with Dr. Dom.

Some of the trade offers on Facebook make me shake my head in disbelief.

I mean, I llike Facebook, but I don't think I'd ever use it for trading.
