Much like Sinestro Bats, Black Lantern Prime only appeared in one panel. However, I wanted a BL and so I painted my prime to be one. To complete the coin, he needed a Card. I wanted to be able to run this card with his current dial, as to leave prime playable in a legal setting.
Card Here
The first thing I will admit is his trait replaced is far superior to a negative trait, and thus his cost should raise, but I wanted him to stay as playable with the figures dial.
Special Movement: Changed from a ridiculous flurry and penetrating damage power with charge, and now is just charge and steal energy, which fits the character better. Toned down for sure, but still a heal on prime is nasty.
Special Attack: Grants the flurry on more dials, lets him use it while in HSS and grants him his SS. So if hes like most, he will carry the black lantern and not use his flurry. If he really needs it, he can use it though. No penetrating though, so hes losing out a little bit on that. Most dangerous on his first few clicks for sure.
He is still perfectly outwit-able, but his defense has been changed to show him rising from the grave. I believe its a fair trade from invincible to this power, still has damage reduction, and gives him cover against ranged attacks. (Based off the graveyard map) Still, it can be a big deal losing that safety of 1 click only and it could either extend his life or kill it significantly.
His damage special is probably better, and I considered making it just prob control (Same restrictions) for the sake of lowering his overall cost to offset the others.
So adds power, but loses a little, still an undercosted beat stick. Lemme know what you think!
I take it you're using the same dial of prime but just with renamed powers right? Life's Sweet Taste and Rage Swells seem pretty well thought of. Plus it does fit Prime really well.
I'm a bit concerned about his Inside the Grave and Ring Enhancment. Prime is powerful, true, but not like that. You might want to tone his defense power a bit down. "Block Line of fire to range combat attacks and Impervious" are a bit too much, Invulnerability might just be better (Look at Kal-L and Martian Manhunter, they only sport toughness.) Invul on Prime would still be acceptable
Perplex and free prob at the same on Prime (on his high attack clix no less) is just way too powerful. I suggest that you make it a choice between using Prob or Perplex once per turn to help balance it out a bit.
Thank you for the comments, and the info :D
I thought of making it invulnerability too, realizing, no one is going to run prime without fortitude, thus it isn't outwit-able in golden. Since you also thought it, I think I will change it up.
As for perplex and Prob, maybe make it so he decides between one or the other at the start of his turn to last until the start of his next?
Perplex and Prob: Think Arkham Question. She can use Perplex Or Outwit. That should help balance him out. It still gives you the option of PC or self Perplex.

Try and keep it simple and it should do fine.
In the grave: now just grants invulnerability instead of impervious plus its effect.
Ring's enhancement makes prime choose either Prob control or perplex at the beginning to use once per turn. And I repped ya for the help :D
