Can you have multiple Contingency Plans on your team?
Just a quick question. If I have 2 people on my team that meet the requirements for Contingency Plan can I have it on both? Also if this is possible, would both cards gain a token at the end of a turn that I don't use all my actions?
Believe me I have used that tactic alot on my little minion teams. it goes great in a league of assassins team. have several sensei's with contingancy plan on them and then have a bunch of league elites all with the ata and give them plus to their attack every turn.
Yeah, I've used that on my big point Skrull teams. 1 CP on Skrull Emperor, and 1 CP on a Skrull General. It's brutal, especially after you build up 4 tokens, and then +1 to 4 different figures that turn
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Oh well, got told I couldn't use 2 of them because it had been errata'd out due to it being too powerful. I told them about what you guys said but they kept saying that it was originally allowed, then it was limited by saying "if you used 1 less action only one of them could get a token. 2 less actions and they each could get one." Then they said that didn't work either so it was errata'd that you could only have 1 per team.
Ended up replacing 1 with Brilliant Tactician on Dr. Strange. It didn't do much for the team since Thor and The Wizard Shazam! were the only ones who shared keywords with him but didn't do too bad. Was only 8 points away from the last semi-finalist.

That is in no way the official way to play CP. If they choose to house rule it that way, fine, but they should make it clear that is what they are doing and NOT try to pass it off as something in the official documentation.
Thanks normalview. One of the guys was asking if any deputies had chimed in on this matter. Now I can tell him that. He wasn't sure about it but said he could swear something was done regarding it but couldn't remember what.

The best thing to do when someone pulls that stuff is to have them show you where this official ruling was made.
It always baffles me when people say "My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with this girl who said that there was errata on this."

Why did no one actually check the errata?
Save Ferris?
No matter where you go, there you are.
