Prerequisites: Outwit

Choose a character.

When the character uses Outwit, it may choose to counter a team ability possessed by a single target opposing character as if that team ability were a power, instead of countering a power.

Fortitude

Prerequisites: {fist}

Choose a character.

The character ignores other characters' Exploit Weakness. Outwit can't be used by other characters to counter the character's powers.


I'm pretty sure I'm seeing this correctly but if I use Batman to attempt to outwit E2 supes who has fortitudes Superman Ally Team Ability it would not allow me to do this with Batman having Dissent correct?

Could I still use Time-Trapper and SkrullJacket to outwit the Team Ability or again falls under the same situation?

Dissent has been errated so that it no longer counters the team ability as if it was a power.

From the Player's Guide:
Fortitude does prevent a character's powers from being Outwitted. But it doesn't protect team abilities. So Dissent can be used to Outwit the team ability of a character with Fortitude. (Yellowjacket and Time Trapper could Outwit team abilities on characters with Fortitude too.)

Ahh ha that makes more sense. How does one quote the Rules Book like that? I just pull the info from the Units section

For things like this, I reference the Player's Guide. (The units section on HCRealms often has non-errated versions of cardboard elements.) You can find the current Player's Guide at the botton of this article.

Definitely use the Player's Guide that Questions linked (also the PAC and rule book and other docs are linked in my signature). The units gallery, while useful, has many errors and quoting something from there might give you incorrect information.
