this has probably been brought up before, but would you like it if they did a DC/Marvel cross over set? for example i think a Herald of Galactus Superman would be cool.

Justin Ziran recently said that any kind of mixing of properties was completely off the table. I think it was in the "Input needed - configuration" thread, towards the very end.

Personally I would love Amalgam, but it appears it probably would never happen.

I would be totally down for a Marvel/DC crossover set (although I imagine it would get tied up in lawyer hell.)

If such a set were actually possible though, here'd be some of my suggestions (in no particular order) :

• the Galactus Herald Superman (as you mentioned above)
• Wonder Woman with Thor's Hammer (from DC vs Marvel #2)
• Dark Claw, Super Soldier, Doctor Strangefate, Speed Demon, Spider-Boy, and the other Amalgam characters
• and probably quite a few others that I can't think at this moment

They said that about the Watchmen and now we are getting a set this month.

Yeah, I guess you never can really tell what will happen. Maybe Doctor Strangefate is right around the corner!! I'd rather have more Elseworld's, but would be thrilled with some of the unusual possibilities of crossovers.

It's been a long time since IndyClix tried it - I wouldn't hold my breath!

If DC and Marvel do a crossthing event in the near future (and I read somewhere that it might happen), then it will be much easier for them to give the CrossClix approval.

Indy clix didn't work well because they didn't put in enough popular indy characters, there were good characters in it, but it needed a bit more oomph. Plus it was a smaller set with REVs, had it been one of the new style sets with one version of each sculpt it might've done a lot better.

I'd like to see other licences appear as sets or mini sets though

And I'm in favor of an Amalgalm+DC/Marvel specific crossover set. I think that's less of a hassle.

I do think they could do one off compatible minisets for diff licences though

And this is the Movie Character License not the Comic. Big difference as far as I am concerned.

The only way I could see an Amalgam set happening would be if it were an "all proceeds go to ..." charity type thing. Marvel and DC could never come up with a way to split the money and keep everyone happy. But an Amalgam set would keep us all happy!!!

A proceeds to charity set might actually be a neat idea

And tehy were right. We didn't get Watchmen, From the Comic. We got the Movie versions which are NIGH indentical but they're still a bit different.

The better argument would be: Lobo, Hitman, and other misc. "Adult" FIgures that were given a no go
