so i buy the last booster of brave and the bold at a comic shop and pull the nekron chace i checked out the character card and was kinda meh about it. mostly because i play comic teams and havnt read much DC.

Anyway i get home and find out about the new Nightcrawler and decided that i would trade this new (but competely unused) chace for it

(please keep in mind that boosters are now scarce where i live and so is the community and that NIGHTCRAWLER is my #1 comic book hero...EVER)

So i was just wondering if anyone else out there has made or will be willing to make stupid trades for the characters they love even if they cant play them competitivley ??

I trade mostly for what I want and only loosely adhere to the value of a fig. Still, I don;t think I'd trade a chase for an uncommon? Rare? Either one. I understad its your fav, but you can prolly pull him or heck, sell the necron, then get nightcrawler and something else too. Still, its your stuff and if your happy with the trade, then theres nothing wrong with it whatsoever. Are ya happy?

The short answer is yes...yes you are

You could easily sell Neckron online for about 2/3 - 4/5ths the value of a online shop WoS brick pre-order. That would give you 10 chances to pull one and more stuff to trade for a Nightcrawler if you didn't get him.

If you haven't traded your nekron yet, I will trade it for a promised nightcrawler as soon as I get one and a SR/LE/Unique of your choice that I have in my extras.

If you have to ask, then you probably are to some degree.

Also, there are plenty of ppl here that would give you a lot more than just Nightcrawler for that chase, including myself if I pull a Nightcrawler. You could also sell it on ebay, buy a the blue guy and have enough money to feed yourself for at least a day. I don't care how scarce boosters are where you live. If you can post here, then you can get boosters. There are tons of reputable vendors online that will send to whatever part of the world you live in as long as you are willing to pay the cost.

So yeah...PM me and we'll work out a deal. My Nightcrawler for your Nekron.

You're not insane, but there may be better ways to go about getting Nightcrawler.

Blue Atoll said it best really. Sell the fig if you don't want him (there are plenty of folks on eBay who do), and then take that money and get yourself a Nightcrawler...and plenty more.

Unless you're trying to get a Nightcrawler *now* instead of when WoS is released...there's no reason to have any other plan.

Oh yes, I've made what others would consider bad/lopsided trades for things I wanted.

And I'm sure I'll do so again.

The worst trade I ever made was WAAAAAAAAAY back in the day. It was only a few days after Clobberin' Time had come out. I hadn't gotten my case yet, and I had only bought about 6-8 packs. Out of those 6-8 packs I had pulled 3 Unique Nightcrawlers. I said to myself "Great, I keep pulling these FREAKIN' things! They must be the most common unique in the set!"

A few days later I traded one for a Unique Desaad and a Unique Catwoman from Hypertime. I was ecstatic! Two uniques for ONE!!! It wasn't until a short while after that and ebay prices soared that I realized that I had made a HORRIBLE mistake...

This same thing happened to me except I was on the benefiting end. Someone had an extra nightcrawler and needed a Mr Fixit. I had pulled two. So I got a Nightcrawler for a Mr Fixit but this was like two days after CT had released and before the weekend when Nightcrawlers worth exploded on ebay.
