The Heroes for Hire have received an invitation to visit Professor Xavier at his school for gifted youngsters in New York. The purpose of the visit is to make amends for the near death of Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat. Danny lined up his personnel jet and made the trip with Black Knight, Black Cat, Colleen Wing, Misty Knight, Luke Cage, and an overprotective Paladin. After a quiet evening including dinner, a tour, and many meet and greets, Danny discovers that the Professor has a special underground training facility he uses to hone the skills of his X-Men. He talks the Professor into letting the Heroes for Hire get a taste of training in the Danger Room, thinking it would be a good idea to 1. Get more training, and 2. See the benefits of building a smaller version of this training room for the H4H.

"Good." Said Bullseye. "I was starting to think this group wasn't exciting enough.
"You're actually happy about it?" Asked Shocker. He was a late addition who didn't have as much cred as Bullseye or Deadpool, but he seemed to have enough sense about him to keep a more level head than either of the other two. A nice change of pace from the insanity that might be expected otherwise. "This just means it's a job we're not getting paid for. Or worse."

"Can it, both of you. We'll talk semantics after we've shown them the dark side of trespassing."

Luke looked around. The room looked just like the Avengers Mansion he had visited. He motioned to Black Knight. Cat lept onto the back of his transport and balanced gracefully as he moved forward, smashing through a wall into the next room. Luke followed him, grabbing up a bronze statue of Iron Man in the process.
