Prowler is pretty dissappointing. I like the sculpt, but dial-wise he's just one of those figures that make you go "mehhhh". Could be worth his points if he gets lucky on his rolls, but most of the time he is just going to get KO'd quickly.

I don't know, for 50 points he's a pretty good secondary attacker,pen/psy for 3 clicks, wild card, plus an attack that never drops below 9.

Keyword sucks, but a outlaw team would be fun (as long as you have Sandman to use his team ability)

Cheap? Check.

Nice defensive values for the cost? Check.

Decent array of powers? Check.

Wild Card team ability for versatility? Check.

Team him up with Batman allies for a street vigilante team and you've got Prowler pulling his weight and then some.

Score: 45%. In a word? Pure "meh". Sure, in a 600 point wildcard abuse team he'll be a solid workmanlike hitter, but that's still nothing to get excited about. Plus his dial ends on those sucky purple Speed and Attack powers. He'll soon cost $0.15 in the Sale/Trade forum, just like other meh figures such as Wonder Man, Gravity or Supernova.

The Prowler is perfect, in such a way that if he was any good, he would be horribly inaccurate. The Prowler is supposed to suck, and they managed to give him a dial of pure low to average values and still make him semi-decent for his cost. I am extremely happy with how he turned out. He's not meant to be a super star, he's meant to be like the Prowler, who his dial and wicked sculpt (of him thinking how much more amazing he actually is) embodies perfectly.

Well, at least while he's standing next to Silver Sable (as her mastermind fodder) he can borrow her quite nice AV (since they'll be teamed with Sandman, natch) and maybe get in a shot with that psychic blast if someone gets close enough.

I had no idea Prowler was such a big dude. Apparently, as his sculpt suggests when compared to most other figures from the set (Nightcrawler especially) I'd say he's about 7' tall or so. Perhaps this sculpt represents the time Shaq spent dawning the Prowler costume?

I don't know why they gave him Psychic/penetrating, he should have Blades/Claws/Fangs.

Boring and no imagination at all. I'm sure they're not doing this guy justice at all.

He's only 5 foot 11 inches. Keep in mind that all of the sculptors don't work together to achieve one exact scale for the figures. For example, Scorpion from this set is noticably underscaled compared to the rest of the figs.

Also, compare IC Hydra Operative with Sinister Hydra Operative. Big difference there...

@Deepshock: I know, hence the Shaq joke that followed after me saying he's about 7' tall. I don't understand why WK doesn't have a scale that all sculptors need to stick to.

@Skuttlebutt: I'm not sure how many players are annoyed by that, but if a lot of players on HCRealms are, then as the largest online Heroclix community, we might be able to do something about that.
