My first real "I love you kind of girlfriend" and I called this as our song. I had no idea what the song was about, we only used it for the chorus.

So the vote is really easy for the Stones on this one.

Although the Rolling Stones have never been at the top of my list of band to like, they do have some redeeming qualities. Like this particular song. The Flying Burrito Brothers, on the other hand, I have never heard of. They did a nice job on the cover, but didn't quite do it for me. It may be the fact they didn't have oodles of pesos to spend on production value like the 'Stones. Anyway, thanks, eddy, for introducing me to a new, although, old band.

In any case, I'll go with The Rolling Stones.

Prior to its release on Sticky Fingers, Gram Parsons convinced Jagger and Richards to allow him to record "Wild Horses" with his band, The Flying Burrito Brothers. While the Rolling Stones had already laid the track to tape, the Burrito Brothers' version was actually the first to be released, appearing on their second album, Burrito Deluxe, in April 1970, one year before Sticky Fingers.

So does that actually make the Stones version the cover, since it was released second? I guess not, but thought that a bit interesting anyway!

In either case, I like the ORIGINAL Rolling Stones version best. One of the best Stones songs ever.

Wow. Not even close. And I like the Burrito Bros and I like their cover here. But still, not even close.

As much as I generally don't like the Stones...Rolling Stones.

Well, there's no way I'm going to allow the FBB to be skunked. I still hold Keith Richards responsible for Gram Parsons untimely demise.

I like this song, but I'm really, really not a Stones fan. I was all ready and willing to give it to the Burrito Brothers. It wouldn't have taken much. I kept waiting for them to do something, anything, that caught my ear and grabbed me. And then the song ended, and it still hadn't happened. So I'll relax my principles and vote for the Rolling Stones.

It's not a vote on what she liked, but rather the memory of her being my first real gf that I said I love you and meant it. Man, was she amazingly hot. Wonder what she looks like now.

In my experiance, they continue to look just as hot as we remember them. At least until we run into them at the mall with their husband and kids. And even with that, a few special ones STILL look pretty hot.

I tried to look her up online, but to no avail. last time I saw her she was working at Tiffany's in NYC. I was in my punk rock stages back then and security got in the elevator with me and followed me up to her floor and then stood about 50 feet away, never once leaving sight of me.
