Hey guys, read the primer on Heroclix (great job Nomalview, btw), but I have a few questions:
1) THe constructs.....when in combat can they deal regular damage? Meaning if Larfleeze is on his top click can they deal damage other than poison via using his 11 attack to deal 3 damage?
2) People can move away from the constructs at will, and likewise the constructs are only inhibited by terrain, right? No breakaways on either side?
3) To destroy a construct someone just has to do 3 damage.....even in close combat they don't carry his defense value, do they?
I'll think of more I"m sure.....I"m probably wishing for too much

1. Anyone next to a construct is considered next to larfleeze for poison and close combat purposes. Larfleeze could be 30 squares away but if someone is next to his construct he can attack through it as though he were next to that character. Also as it's worded, larfleeze can be attacked through them. Errata is expected
2. Pretty sure this is a yes and there's argument that terrain shouldn't bother constructs but that's for the RA's to has out
3. Correct. Constructs don't have a defense value.

Morand is correct that no break away is needed to move away from the Orange Construct. In terms of the Orange Construct's movement, they can ignore hindering terrain and elevated terrain for movement. They will be affected by blocking terrain and walls in the same way that a character would be.

I'd simply not allow the vice versa to be true. It's simply common sense. (the fact that you attack Larfleeze through his constructs as well)

the article on heroclix.com said that they were subject terrain.....has it been reveresed?
so they are non-phasing flyers, or non-phasing grounded?
Neither. They are objects. Objects are not affected by hindering terrain or elevated terrain (because the rules for both reference characters, not objects), but they are affected by blocking terrain and walls (because the rules for blocking terrain indicate that any movement is blocked, not just characters, and walls use the blocking terrain rules.) They also will not need to stop when they become adjacent to an opposing character (because again the rules reference characters, not objects.)
They dont need to breakaway because they are not ever given an action. And the rule of occupancy prevents objects from occupying blocking terrain without a specific power that allows it to do so.

I don't believe they've explicitly stated yet, but we were told that errata was coming for the figure regarding that issue. Given that the power currently works one way, an errata on that issue must make it work another way... the conclusion is obvious.
