Alright, would you rather play the new Alan Scott GL or Crisis Sinestro? Most people will probably say Alan just because he is newer and less people have been able to use him in tourny play. Personally I love playing Sinestro (mostly as a secondary attacker in higher point games) but he might be getting benched for GL if I can get my hands on one. Both are great piece! Reasonable PVs, variety of powers, and both are very capible attackers.
EDIT: Just pulled Green Lantern a few days ago! Very happy and ready to play him!

(Speed) In Blackest Day: Sinestro can use Phasing/Teleport and Running Shot.
(Attack) In Brightest Night: Sinestro can use Energy Explosion, Psychic Blast, and Telekinesis.
(Defense) Let Those Who Try to Stop What's Right: Sinestro can use Energy Shield/Deflection, Toughness, and Willpower.
(Damage) Sinestro's Might!: Sinestro can use Energy Explosion and Ranged Combat Expert. When Sinestro uses Energy Explosion, damage dealt is penetrating damage.
Pros:
10 range
Early perplex and outwit
Late charge/EW
Longer dial (by a click)
Slightly higher damage output

(Attack) The Green Flame: Green Lantern can use Incapacitate, Penetraring/Psychic Blast, and Telekinesis.
(Special) Light the Danger: Green Lantern ignores Stealth. When a character takes damage from his attack, that character can't use Stealth this turn.
Personally I still think Sinestro is slightly more rounded and those two extra squares of range go a long way in my book (I appears to me 8 range is the new 10, atleast in DC75 that is) but like everyone I want to play with new figs and see how they fair. What do you think? Who would you want on YOUR team?
Since I mostly play keyword teams I don't think those two would ever compete for a spot.
But since I own Alan and not Sinestro, I'll probably go with Alan.
Both figs are good and offer excellent tactical flexibility, but Sinestro's opening click w/ 18-DV + Perplex makes Sinestro, in my opinon, a slightly better all-around figure.
If you expect to encounter a lot of Stealth, however, Alan Scott would be the more useful character.
I would go with Alan Scott over Sinestro. Alan has Indomitable, slightly better attack values, and Impervious. Plus Alan has the Gotham City keyword and can see through stealth so he gets the nod in my book. I've had 3 different Sinestros but never played him once.
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.
Welcome Charlie (Charles William Cook)! Born 7/14/2011!
2) He gets knocked to good stuff - Sinestro gets knocked to suckiness
3) Indomitable trumps all
4) Regen with phasing gives increased life
I always hated the Crisis Sinestro. I never used mine - always choosing the Legacy versions. I've played against him a few times and he has done nothing interesting on the battlefield but die.
I traded mine away right before DC75 dropped and am pleased to have done so.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
