hey just wanted to know if is possible or even worth doing, cause i have had this guy since wos came out and have no idea what to do with him
oh modern age.
so the only way to use rulk is to use other hulks?
Even with the limited figures that I've been able to accumulate (none of which are other Hulks), I've generally had nothing but a great time when I throw Rulk onto a team, especially if you have enough points to give him supporting characters to help him do his damage.
Throw in some Outwit/Perplex/PC figures with some decent range (some that I have are an048 Ganthet, si042a Captain Mar-Vell, si020 Immortus, etc.) to weaken your opponent's forces from afar while you send in some sturdy CC figures (si016 Hercules, for example) to keep them in base-to-base and weaken them with close-combat expert, give ol' Rulk a push if he hasn't taken any clicks yet and then charge him in and Major Earthquake on 'em. At that point, you are hopefully in a position to Outwit whatever opposing figs still possess damage reducers, you can Perplex their defenses down and then hit 'em. Granted, your opponent needs to be running their figs in a tighter configuration to get hit with Rulk's ME since it's only got a range of 3sq, but if you can get in the right spot and if it does hit, it could even be a game-ender by then. Keep your PC(s) handy in case Rulk misses, and boom - KO's all over the battlefield
And that's only one way to go about it. Experiment, experiment, experiment!
You can try to run a Brute theme team with him but I'd min-max him.
I'd try to give him 3 perplexers a pc fig, and maybe a tker.
You have got to be able to hit and do major damage with him.
You don't want to get him out of range or sight of your perplexers, so tk wisely.
Another choice could be to use a transporter like Nightshade instead of tking him.

well alright thanks, guess i will just play him more and see what i can do with him. I do love the idea of throwing him with a good tk and just smashing.

Try fielding him with other Hulk enemies, such as: The Leader MuMo 116 (OW and PC), the entire team of X-Ray, Vector, Ironclad, and Vapor, Skull-Brother LE from HoT 75 (perplex).

You could also run the new avenger

I've made a couple of teams for Rulk though only for the brute KW
RED HULK 22O
PIP THE TROLL 42
MENACE 37
Also, though its golden age (because of the feats)
RED HULK 220 (unstoppable and rip it up)
PIP THE TROLL 42 (double time)
SHE-THING 5O
TOMBSTONE 58 400 point total
pip moves rulk around to cripple targets (outwitters first) then leaves for the rest to clean up.
rip it up helps the whole team and affords them a little range. You may also want to play the HIGH GRAVITY BFC with this team.
Dont know if these teams are any good though (prob best for friendly play) I've still got to test them lol
i made the entire team of evil genius that he was introduced with, including Doc Samson and Red She Hulk, that team is really fun to play but seriously for the higher pointed games lol
