Robert Plant and Alison Kraus. There's just so much good stuff on that album. Both Tom Waits' voice and his instrumentals sound raw, and maybe that's the point, but I prefer the duet's sounds.

The Tom Waits version is pretty good but I have to admit his singing voice is an acquired taste that I still have to acquire.

My vote goes to the Plant/ Krauss cover.
