With the attempt to streamline/harmonize the rules regarding Colossal and Giant figures, I was wondering whether this aspect of the Sentinel (and of the colossal Sinestro, I noticed) has been eliminated:
"If an Advanced Sentinel moves over or stops on an object token, the object is destroyed." (quoted from the Advanced Sentinel Rules) -- Also, i noticed that the Sinestro Colossal said something about replacing said destroyed object with a debris token...
So has this rule been eliminated?... I've seen no mention of it lately and a brief search revealed nothing. Thank you in advance.
Good question. I kind of liked that aspect of a colossal. I assume that it is like the pushing ruling. If it is in the rules of the figure, then it is still part of the figure. It is not part of the colossal size/stamina mechanic.

That is not an inate ability associated with or the abilities that it grants.
If a character's rule sheet says that it destroys objects over which it moves, then it does.
This will be a good boon for my poor Frost Giant. He can use the Kinetic Accelerator to boost his movement on his Running Shot clicks to help him out with his (rather sad) 4 Range

How would he start an action on top of the object?

Had me confused there for a second
As Harpua said, since 'ole Frosty doesn't destroy objects when he stomps on them () he can use the KA to up his movement. Which helps out with his (decent) 5 move Running Shot, and (piss poor) 4 Range

So the rule i quote above in my opening post: it applies only to the Advanced Sentinel sold in the Days of Future Past pack and to no other Sentinel (i.e. none of the newer ones)?...

And I believe the original Sentinel from IC uses the same rules.

No, the original Sentinel does not destroy an object if it moves over an object, but rather only if it lands/ends its movement on one... if i recall correctly...

From the PG:
The Sentinel with an Infinity Challenge set symbol should use the Advanced Sentinel Rules.
And even if that bit wasn't there, from the original Sentinel's rules:
The player chooses any square adjacent to the big figure Sentinel to begin counting movement. A big figure Sentinel must end its movement so that its base rests on one of the squares within its movement range. If a big figure Sentinel moves over or stops on an object token, the object is destroyed and replaced by a rubble token.
