BB019 Talia has the trait: UNDERCOVER: Wild cards cannot copy team abilities from Talia.
and the Batman Ally and Superman Ally TAs.
GX012 Cypher has the trait: CRACK ENEMY COMMUNICATIONS: At the beginning of the game, choose a team ability that an opposing character can use that isn't a Wild Card team ability or a team ability a Wild Card can't use. Friendly characters can use that team ability this game in addition to their other team abilities as long as Cypher is on the map.(typoed to Comunications in the unit listing, btw, also noticed that the Modern/Golden age colorbars are outdated there.)
Now, my question is this, can Cypher grant one of Talias TAs to his team-mates? It can be assumed that the wording "team ability a Wild Card can't use" in Cyphers trait means TAs like Power Cosmic and Quintessence, and that limitations to WC-copying on a specific enemy character is not an issue, as long as WCs generally can copy that TA.
I.e: Does Cyphers Trait refer to a TA in general, or specifically on a target enemy character?
My first though was "No he can't" but then again, I'm not sure...
He can not copy team abilities of Tallia. There would have to be another character with those team abilities in order for him to copy them.
If you look at the players guide, his trait works like team copy just like wild cards.

PLAYERS GUIDE GOLDEN AGE PAGE 21
Crack Enemy Communications causes the figure to copy the team ability in the same ways as a Wild Card

Well, when things are in the guide, they're already official. Even then, you don't need an orange post on every single issue. If a correct answer is already given and not contested, it's more logical to just leave the thread be. Posting in every single thread to say, "Yes, X is correct" would be inefficient.
