If you have someone with Super Strength but not the required 3 damage to break a wall, they could break an adjacent wall. Example: Nico from HoT could give herself SS and then break down an adjacent wall.
Basically, say you have a character with just a 1 or 2 damage with super strength - that's still a 1 or 2 for normal attacks against characters, but when attacking terrain they get a +2 to their damage, thus allowing them to break the terrain (since doing so requires a 3 or higher damage).

It's one of the few lesser uses of a power that I don't think I've ever actually seen used. But, it's nice to have there. It's one of the things that often gets overlooked like throwing objects with super strength, or taking knockback intentionally with combat reflexes.... but this is one that I haven't seen used yet, in all my years of playing.

Of course I did find one character that cannot utilize the bonus to even destroy a wall...
Ultron-13 has 1 click where he has 0 damage.
