Ok, so there's been talk about the comic shop of how this power works in relation to psychic blast and pulse wave. The shop was split about 50/50 for and against protection from pb. There was a question about if it ignored pulse wave until I told him that PW Ignores powers, not reduces or counters, IGNORES.
What we have here is the classic trick shot vs Camouflage situation.
-Psychic Blast: Damage that can’t be reduced by powers that reduce damage dealt.
-Shield of Faith: Damage dealt to Prophet of Reget by ranged attacks is reduced to 0.
Just by the wording you can take it either way. Either the prophet Does take full damage in the wording of PB...Or he doesn't due to the exact wording on his SP. Damage dealt by ranged attacks is reduced to zero. PB is a ranged attack, so which activates first? Declaring a Ranged Combat Attack usually comes first which activates Psychic Blast. Does the Prophet's power activate when attacked with the range attack, or when PB activates? PB deals damage after the attack, and the def power activates as soon as the character is hit.
The argument reminded me of an argument of Trick Shot vs Camouflage. The Exact Wording on trick shot goes like this.
-Trick Shot: When making an attack from a square that is not adjacent to an opposing character, the character ignores Stealth and team abilities that duplicate the effects of Stealth, and it ignores characters and hindering terrain for line of fire purposes.
-Camouflage: When the character is adjacent to a wall or blocking terrain, any line of fire for a ranged combat attack drawn to the character is blocked.
The trick shotters argued that because the feat ignored characters they should be free to shoot. Camo party quoted the exact wording of their feat and how it BLOCKED LOF on ranged attacks completely, so there was nothing to ignore.
In the end it came down to the house judge declaring trick shot to be shot blocked by camouflage. I ask all of you to talk to your judges and see what they say as far as house rules go. Since you cannot use these figs in the big tourneys anyway, you pretty much have to go by what your judge says. If you aren't playing at a venue but at a buddies house, then go by the ancient custom of high low roll. When faced against a problem, low roll means no damage is dealt, while high roll means he takes it in the face with a brick. Wizkids will probably errata the power like they do all of them so just wait and go with what your local judges say.

Reason: Stinking auto correct.
Always try to leave an internet argument at lvl 1!
Shield of Faith reduces damage to 0, just like Impervious on a roll of 5-6. Psychic Blast deals penetrating damage, which can't be reduced. Shield of Faith cannot reduce that damage.
Trick Shot lets the character ignore Stealth and characters and hindering terrain for line of fire. Camouflage is neither a character, hindering terrain, nor Stealth, so it blocks line of fire regardless of whether Trick Shot is in play.
If they wanted it to avoid Psychic Blast, they could have either made the power ignore Psychic Blast, or stated it so that the damage value is replaced and locked.
