Am I correct in assuming that if I was to carry 100pt Black Adam, I would not be able to Outwit my opponent prior to making my non-free action attack?

My thought is that I would have to resolve the conditions of the Boom Tube Invasion (the non-free action) prior to any other actions by Black Adam or any other character.

If it had said something like "After an action resolves in which Darkseid used the Carry ability, a character that was carried may be given a non-free action," then perhaps.


Instead, literally all that part of the power does is allow a character that was carried to take a non-free action at some point after being carried. Normally, you can't do that. Now you can.
