Welcome to the newest game courtesy of Gargantua and flyingicarus. We've enjoyed our big games so much that, with the addition of so many new figures, we've decided to expand. Here we have two concurrent games, three rounds each going to 7500 k for each game. Any character can be used once, period. Feats can be used three times in each game.
We've also established two teleportation portals on each player's side. The teleporters in our starting areas can only teleport to that player's other teleporter. Each player's second teleporter, the one farthest from the starting area, can teleport to either that same player's starting area or the opposing player's teleporter that is farthest away from their starting area. Teleporters can be used once per turn. They cannot be destroyed but if based by an opposing figure that teleported figure must stop and either break away or attack that basing figure.
And, as we often do, one of our favorite eternal themes: DC vs. Marvel.
As I suggested the first game let's give Marvel map choice and initiative this round. You're Marvel this time so you get those...
My DC team is as follows:
Beast Boy 60
Raven V IK 73 (Book of Destiny)
Donna Troy AN # 6 (Force Field) 79
Starfire V IK 96 (Opportunist)
Cosmic Boy 70 (TK Reach)
Trigon 263 (Lazarus Pit)
Dr. Light V 84 (Elite Sniper)
Holiday Killer 43 (Dissent)
"Do you feel it, Trigon? The excitement in the air? I can hardly wait to crush any who try me!" Dr. Light says.
"That's very bloodthirsty, Light, I doesn't serve us," notes the Holiday Killer.
"He is what he is. And like you, a worm that I contend with," Trigon says.
"And these are our pals, guys?" Cosmic Boy asks the Titans.
"Let's call them...reluctant allies," Wonder Girl says, "Their evil but their motives are beyond question."
"...To save the earth," Starfire adds.
"It is not easy to ally with my father," Raven says, "It wrecks havoc with my empathy."
Beast Boy puts his arm around her shoulder, "Buck up, kiddo. Gotta be strong here. And if you need any help, Garfield Logan would be glad to pour on the tlc....".
Ring of higher elevated terrain, with lower areas in the center and the corners. The corners may be good hiding places, or maybe too good. No idea what the Orange squares are supposed to do. I'd just call them hindering.
Baron Zemo (CA-Contingency Plan) 150
R Kang (SV-Protected) 87
Fixer (CA-Thunderbolts-Mystic) 102
Mentallo (Compel) 71
The Captain (GSX-Nextwave) 124
Sharon Carter (Running Start) 50
V Blink (Endurance) 66
Predator X (x3) 399
"I really don't think I like this," Blink said nervously as the three Predators X circled her, growling.
"They are under my control. You needn't fear," Baron Zemo declared.
"On the contrary, that's just what I'm afraid of," Sharon Carter muttered to Blink.
"I know what you're thinking," Mentallo said. "You're thinking you can't trust us."
"Personally I'm thinking which of you %*&#$s I might tear the arms off of to use a toothpick," the Captain said with his usual crudeness.
"Charming," Kang said. "But we know as well as you do what is at stake. You know that we so-called villains are primarily motivated by self-interest. If the universe is destroyed, we by extension go with it. Therefore, winning this battle is of the utmost priority to us, and if that means cooperating with you who are normally our adversaries, then for the duration of the fight, we will put aside our traditional enmities and do so."
"What he said," the Fixer nodded. "Our motives may be a little different, but we want to save the universe as much as you do. So do we have a truce?"
Sharon, Blink and the Captain looked at each other. "Fine," Sharon said at last. "But I'm still keeping half an eye on you all."
"Excellent. Then let us crush our foes. For the good of all our universe, of course," Zemo said.
What with the map issues and you going away this week (remind me again when you leave and for how long, so I can pace my games) I didn't prioritize these games (why get them too far along just yet).
Beast Boy A13
Raven V IK (Book of Destiny) B10
Donna Troy AN # 6 (Force Field) B13
Starfire V IK B11 (Opportunist)
Cosmic Boy B12 (TK Reach)
Trigon A12 (Lazarus Pit)
Dr. Light V A11 (Elite Sniper)
Holiday Killer B14 (Dissent)
No that makes sense. The Cap/Superman games are near done. We can finish them soon with a push. Ditto the Arkham/Hammer game.
I'll be leaving crack of dawn Thursday morning. I should be able to get a decent amount of playing in tonight and tomorrow night before that, so maybe we can put some actual closure on the games I mentioned. I get back Sunday night late, so I should be able to get my usual turn or two in Monday before work, and then Monday night I can catch up on anything else.
Not rushing on this one, but since I posted last, I'd better go before we forget (I forget) that it's actually my turn to do something.
SO I will set up, but before I go I will remind you that you need to place your teleporters

What did we decide the orange squares are, as in LM13, 14, blocking right? If it is one of my teleporters will be in K13. Probably need to change it if it's not...
Beast Boy A13
Raven V IK (Book of Destiny) B10
Donna Troy AN # 6 (Force Field) B13
Starfire V IK B11 (Opportunist)
Cosmic Boy B12 (TK Reach)
Trigon A12 (Lazarus Pit)
Dr. Light V A11 (Elite Sniper)
Holiday Killer B14 (Dissent)
I was thinking just hindering on the orange. Though it almost looks like it could be used as a teleporter with the squares in the corners and the center.
She'll rs to K10 attacking Blink. Needs 6, rolls 8. SS is 5.
Beast Boy to G11.
Beast Boy @ G11
Raven V IK (Book of Destiny) B10
Donna Troy AN # 6 (Force Field) B13
Starfire V IK @ K10 (Opportunist)
Cosmic Boy @ B12 (TK Reach)
Trigon A12 (Lazarus Pit)
Dr. Light V @ A14 (Elite Sniper)
Holiday Killer B14 (Dissent)
"You really shouldn't leave yourself open like that. You're a big target for my starbursts this way," Starfire says as she starts the battle with an assault on Blink.
Blink teleports away and back, missing the hit. "You were saying?" she asks.
Where Starfire is is supposed to be Blocking Terrain. Brown's always Blocking. Cos could TK her to I6 or J6 and she could RS from there to L9 or 10 to make that attack.
Just so we're on the same page with the map. The ring that runs around the map is Elevated. The middle of the map and the corner are lower, non-Elevated Terrain. The two big chunks of brown I9-J11/K10 and its counterpart are blocking. Some kind of floor-to ceiling computer bank or something. 4 smaller Blocking squares at E8, etc. And then the areas P7-R10 and its counterpart at the other corner are enclosed by walls, except where they're open at the corners. Does that all jibe with you?
