All KOd figures will score victory points to the opposing force. It doesn't matter whether the opponent KOd the fig, or if you pushed (or did something else to damage your own figure) your own figure to KO.
Mind Control feedback is not damage inflicted by the opponent.

Also in this category is KOing your own figure that has been usurped onto your opponent's force.
For example, if I have Jericho Possess your 300 point Iron Man/War Machine and then you KO it while it is on my force, I score those 300 points.

Which still leaves Apocalypse to be the one of the biggest errors in the game:
Quote
You Appear More Worthy: Once per game, give Apocalypse a power action and choose two characters: an adjacent opposing character not on its starting line and a friendly character on the map with a point value higher than the opposing character but lower than Apocalypse. The first character becomes friendly to Apocalypse and gains the Horsemen of Apocalypse keyword. The second character becomes friendly to the first character's force and is healed of 1 damage

If only one player has surviving (undefeated) characters at the end of the game, that player is the winner. Otherwise, at the end of the game all players count their victory points (see below). Whoever scores the most victory points wins the game. If two players played as an allied team, their points are added together. If there is a tie in victory points, all tied players roll 2d6 and the player with the highest total result wins.
If you swap characters and then game ends with you only controlling you opponents figure, They win.

What? I'm not following. Let's try an example, I have Apoc and 99pt Archangel, they have... let's keep it simple some 500pt guy and 50 point guy. I use Apoc's power to swap my Archangel for his 50pt guy. Now the game ends. With no KO's it's a roll off right? If my Apoc then KO's "his" Archangel, then Apoc wins. Right? Or am I missing something?
aqhoffman- greatest post possibly ever
jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.

Using you example will call Team Apocalypse Player 1 and Team 500 point Player 2
Game ends with the figures switched...
If Archangel is the last figure on the board, Player 1 wins since it was his character and the only figure left on the field even though player 2 was controlling it at the end of the game.

Are we sure thats how that is ruled? It sounds pretty backward to me.

My team:
Apoc - 500
Archangel - 99
Your team:
Thor's Chariot - 500
Thunderer of Qward - 50
Nightshade - 50
I swap my Archangel for your Nightshade.
1) No KOs - Roll off
2) My Apoc KOs the Archangel who is now on your team. That's the only KO of the game. - You scored 99 points when I KOed Archangel, so you win 99 - 0.
3) Apoc KOs The Chariot and the Qwardian. Archangel KOs Apoc and Nightshade. Archangel is the only one left. I win because even though you controlled Archangel at the end of the game, he is still my figure, so I'm the only one with figures left.

It has been ruled with characters using possession that when the game ends characters go back to their original controlling player.
With that when the Game ends Archangel will return to his original controller and since that player has the only figure left they become the winner.

I'm not trying to argue the ruling here but do you realize how stupid this is from a game perspective.
Using the same terms "My team" only has nightshade left, "Your Team" only has Archangel.
At his point it would be a pushing contest to see who runs out of dial first.
Pretty much everything / anything about general heroclix is here.
