First off, yes you can turn off Elektra's stealth.
But you cant do that in the middle of an action, you have to do it before the action occurs. So you would have to turn off Stealth before rolling for Super Senses.
In MtG terms this would be when your opponent passes you priority. Since he must give you priority to roll your SS, you can turn off Stealth before the roll.
Attached is the quote from the rules for turning off powers:
Quote
The owning player may cancel the effect at any time, in which case it is canceled until the end of the current turn. At the beginning of the next turn, it is assumed to be in effect again.
I'll keep that in mind, about having to turn off stealth before the action. I remember playing it that way with old elektra, before making a b/c/f attack.
Im basically asking this becaue it may come up in the marquee for me or anyone else tomorow so it's good to know how it would work.
Are we all 100 percent sure that a power is forced to stay off untill the end of the turn its cancled? I know the rule you quoted said "it is cancled untill the end of the current turn", but this might just be the default.
I think the power must stay off because of the wording, but its good to know for sure.
Originally posted by Bloodsword No. It seems pointless to have to turn off stealth. It comes back on at the end of the turn. SO it is like you never turned it off.
Not quite. Consider this turn of events:
My Black Panther is in the bushes next to your Thug. I turn off stealth (you'll see why in a minute) and then attack your Thug. Somehow I miss but since I turned off stealth my Scarlett Witch now has line of sight to my Black Panther (she wouldn't if I hadn't turned off stealth) so she makes him reroll. This time I hit but you decide you want to save your Thug so your Scarlett Witch forces me to reroll (since my stealth is still off your Witch also has line of sight).
I could also say that a after I turn off stealth one of my perplexers could up Black Panther's attack value before I attack. It allows me some advantages but also leaves me open to probability control.
If I hadn't turned off stealth then none of the probability control or perplexing could have happened.
I was thinking of using it for U Elektras supersenses roll. If I fail, and she is stealthed, i cant use PC to alter the roll. So I have to turn off stealth to use PC.
