I'm curious as to the action token part.

Let's say the player controlling Thanos goes second. Player 1 moves all his figures and tokens all of them. I'm assuming player 2 could no longer use the power, because he would not be able to assign two tokens to any character.

Pretty sure that since you cannot put 2 more tokens to make it 3, you can't put any.

It says the beginning of 'THE' first turn. not 'YOUR' first turn.

I'm pretty sure that means when the actual player controlling Thanos is using the dial.

I doubt it, but who knows. I think it means the first turn he is using the dial, and he is using the dial during an opponents turn.

The question would be what happens if he starts using the dial during an opponents turn, but after "the beginning of the turn" is over. Wasted!

Edit: also, i think those guys died.

I'm not aware of a lot of game effects (in-between actions) that allow you to move/place an opponents figures while it's the opponents turn.

That's why I think it only works on your own turn.

I wonder when the "officially preview" will happen? Shouldn't most stores be getting them in today? Wouldn't today be the release date or do we have to wait till August 1st?

It depends. Technically the Set Symbol was released 8 months ago.
The figures release date is today to the store.
But the first available game to win the figure is next Wednesday.

So the answer is whatever they feel like, and they'll just back into the reasoning from there.
