THE BLACKEST NIGHT : Whenever an opposing character is KO'd during your turn within 8 squares of Nekron, they are considered KO'd, but do not remove them from the map and heal them of 1 damage. After all current actions have resolved, that character becomes friendly to your force and you may immediately assign them one action as a free action. After this action is resolved, remove that character from the map.
Scenario
An opposing duo character is KO'd within 8 squares of a friendly Nekron. The Blackest Night SP is activated.
The duo is turned to their last click and "revived."
Nekron's controller gives them a power action to use Split. Nekron's controller swaps out the duo with a replacement character(s).
Question
Per the wording of The Blackest Night (last line), would one or both replacement characters be removed from the map after the action resolves?
One line is being added to the rulebook to cover some oddball situations. As of today, you are only allowed to replace characters if the original character is from your original force. No more using Mind Control to force a replacement on your opponent – sorry!
