I've got stumped over this question when I was having a brawl with my cousin. What happens if I roll critical miss but the dice result is successful against target's defense? Does it hit at all despite the critical miss roll? On the other hand, if I roll critical hit but the dice result is unsuccessful against target's defense (which means the result is lower than target's defense), would it still be a hit?

Critical Miss will always miss regardless of totals and Critical Hit will alway hit regardless of totals.

If you get a critical miss and you hit the target it is still a miss. If you get a critical hit and it isn't enough to hit the target you still hit them.

A Critical Miss (rolling a 2) is ALWAYS a missed roll.

A Critical Hit (rolling a 12) is ALWAYS a successful roll.

I think I'll re-word that:

Critical Miss will always [b]hit[/hit]. Unfortunately you hit yourself instead of your enemy. :disappoin

BUT one thing I hate the most about the Critical Hits - they are NOT always a successful roll - is when the opponents has their Super Sense successfully activated.

I tried that against TOMorrow and I got 6+6 - critical hit!!! BUT....TO Morrow has a SuperSense and rolled a 6 - successful avoid my hit! ####! So AVOID hitting ANY character who has Super Senses. Allright? Don't waste it! I was a big time sucker and a lousy gambler...*pouting*
