Empire of the Sun - 80's Bowie comes to mind. It's intriguing, but, man, that guy looks ridiculous.

Ayo - Passionate and heartfelt. I could see listening to this via my wife.

Hinder - One step above Keith Urban. They tried to rock. I think...

Keith Urban - I listened to it but all it did was reaffirm my dislike of contemporary country music.

I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.

Empire of the Sun – I could see me listening to this on the right night. Something about it wasn’t too bad and I dug the electronica style.
Ayo – She’s got a pretty voice and the song is decent. Not catchy, but I’ve heard a lot worse. This one would at least have beat all the ones in part 2.
Keith Urban Ughhhh, three songs in and I’m hoping Hinder can pull off a solid win. These are just not worthy of a 1.

The first two at least sound like they were trying to make respectable music-

1- Ayo- Enjoyed this, it feels real, it sounds nice.
2- Hinder- From an old mold, but I didn't think it was awful.

The last two sound like they threw something together to be music stars. Artificial, not very likeable. Didn't need to actually be let out into the world.

3- Keith Urban- Could it be any more obvious he needed a successful song for his fans? Sorry the result wasn't so good.
4- Empire Of The Sun- Boring and a bit forced.

Sorry if I was holding up this last one.

Ayo - Lovely singing voice. Nice hint of Latin flavor in the instrumentation.

Keith Urban - Generally if you ask me, I'll say I don't really care for country that much, but I think it's starting to grow on me.

Hinder - Decent power ballad. Not exceptional.

Empire of the Sun - Not wild about it, but don't hate it either.

II never went to the China Club in the Hamptons, but I did go to the one on South Beach back in the late 80s. It was pre-wife and I was there with a very pretty Spanish lady. Made everyone turn their heads.
