For the non-SoG half here are house rules:
All figures are legal. No feats, no BFCs, no Bystander Tokens, no Special Objects printed before DC 75th.


I mostly have stuff from 10th Anniversary onward. Any ideas on a good team? I was thinking of maybe incorporating the assassins team pack from SoG but I'm not quite sure what would have good synergy.

Another idea I had was to use KC Flash with the Gauntlet on him and just HSS around the map with some SoG guys backing him up.

The prizes will probably include that new Radar Monitor among other OP kit goodness so I would like to build a competitive team. (I really want to be able to copy ANY TA)

I don't think KC Flash is worth it, his damage output is just too low. And with 200pts of SOG I don't think you'll have the Perplex necessary to boost him.

That said the Assassins are probably about the best figures in the set, so that might be a really good start.

So you have 110 of support. You could probably use some taxi-type stuff, maybe prob... Theme probably won't work as you'd need to fit in 3 figures, probably Martial Artist in 110 points. Even if you could do that, I'm not sure it would be worth it.

Dark Phoenix wouldn't be bad, TK, carry, and an extra outwit and attacker.

The Insider might not be bad, he could be an awesome Taxi, meshes with the Stealth and Outwit motif.

I can't find any other really good combos. I mean Alfred and Catwoman (DC10 68pts) are an even 110 and bring something to the table, but not the mobility I would prefer.

I love the idea of using Phoenix. After digging around I found the sniper punisher from the hulk set. So here's my idea:

SoG #038 David Cain -- 76 pts
SoG #040 Deathstroke -- 147 pts
M10 #021 Dark Phoenix -- 100 pts
IH #023 Punisher -- 65 pts
Utility Belt -- 7 pts
3x Gas Pellets -- 3 pts
Suit of Sorrows -- 1 pt
Sonic Transmitter -- 1 pt
TOTAL: 400 pts

The idea here is I replaced Shiva with Punisher so he can stick to the shadows with Cain's perplex, leadership, and enhancement. They can pick off targets together and if someone gets too close I can weapon swap Punisher since I have his other two forms and Cain already has a way to deal with close encounters.

Meanwhile Phoenix can carry around and help out Deathstroke.

So basically I have two two-man teams that stick together.

The only thing I'm not sure on is if I need the Suit of Sorrows and I'm not sure WHO to put the belt on.

If I take the suit off I may stick on another transmitter to get the TA outwit from the belt.

Thoughts?

I would probably take the suit off and go for the fifth slot. Other than that looks really solid to me. I like it. I would even play it, if I had them.

Awesome. So the final question is... WHO gets the belt? I'm thinking Punisher so he can keep shooting without fear of pushing damage.
