Hi guys,

I have a pretty substantial collection that's become rather old. The newest figures would be from the Hammer of Thor release in 2009. I have a lot of sets and most aren't complete, although most are 80% filled.

These are the sets:

MARVEL: Fantastic Forces, Armor Wars, Danger Room, Sinister, Supernova, Avengers, Mutations and Monsters, Secret Invasion, Hammer of Thor

DC: Hypertime, Cosmic Justice , Unleashed, Legacy, Icons, Collateral Damage, Giants, Green Lantern Corps, Origin, Legion of Superheroes, Justice League, Crisis, Arkham Asylum.

I also have a substantial amount of LEs from those years (albeit without the boxes), along with some special figures like Starro and Dark Phoenix (though I would have to talk to my son about them).

I have the character cards for all figures, and the also have a quite a few Feat and Battlefield Condition cards and pogs.

Anyway, I was just wondering if any of this stuff is of any interest to anyone, or if it's just all too old and out-of-date for me to be cataloging at this point.

Personally, I don't think anything is ever too old. I have very character-specific tastes (as opposed to those that collect everything, or good gaming pieces, or just chases and con exclusives, etc.), so I'm always up for picking through trade lists and the like. But as far as the majority of the people on here, it seems like the trade area is dominated by the most recent set to come out. Which is understandible, to a point, but it does get in the way of getting older pieces, because usually the people looking and trading are doing so with something in the area of the last 4 sets released, it seems.

If you can make enough trades to get your iTrader up to 25, though, you could sell off lots or whatever, so it just depends on what you're wanting- Clix for Clix, or cash for Clix.

There are a good number of desired clix from the sets you have listed.
Hammer of Thor, Arkham Asylum, Cris and Supernova. IF you happen to have any of these clix, feel free to PM me. I'm after afew from these sets as I'm sure many other realmsers are.

And yeah, with your iTrader rating, you could start a Sale thread or trade them.

I'm always looking at older stuff, and there's still some key pieces I need. That said, you're welcome to check my H/W and pitch me if you can fill in holes.

Now, for what I would consider the average user around here, if it isn't modern, or at the very least card era, they probably shrug it off as underpowered. The exception might be any personal favourite character(s) that has only been made in Golden Age.

There is some old stuff that is really desirable. Then there is the other stuff. That other stuff may be wanted but no where near "worth" what it used to be. I know I have a want list of old Us and LEs that for most of them are usually sweeteners in a deal.
