So, we all know that if you have flight, then you CANNOT carry indoors.

Now, if someone has the Carry ability, but they don't have flight they just have regular movement(like Man-Thing) then can they Carry indoors?

I think of it as, you can't fly and Carry because you'll hit the ceiling. But someone like Man-Thing should be able to by just tossing them over his shoulder.

So, Carry ability without flight, can they carry indoors?

I was told by basically every Heroclix player I've met in the past like, 4 months that you can't Carry indoors at all ever nada zip zilch zero eternity. I feel like a total idiot now.

If you're curious, we did 400 points and I played Man-Thing at 150, Satana Helstrom, Brother Voodoo, and Ancient One.

Played two people, took two damage in total out of both games :D

You can't play ball in the house, but you can carry indoors.

You can't soar indoors. But you can't soar at all now either.

Not sure why everyone would tell you that you can't, but maybe they didn't get the PRO TIP.

Was it EVER a rule of some sort? The guys I know are like 29-30 and have been playing for years, I'm 20 and been playing for a couple of months and it's always been a consistent rule with them all. Now we know I suppose.

I started playing when Critical Mass came out (2004) and we were able to fly/carry indoors at that time. We couldn't use the "soaring" elevation of flight inside, but we could always fly and/or carry.

Looc105, I hope you also understand that flight allows you to ignore hindering terrain and elevated terrain when indoors as well. You have me concerned when you say things like, "you can't fly and Carry because you'll hit the ceiling". Flying indoors, whether you are carrying someone or not, does not make you hit the ceiling.

Also, outdoor blocking terrain with the brown line can be flown over too, unless I am mistaken.

I know you can ignore elevated and hindering indoors yeah, which kinda makes me feel extra dumb for not knowing you could carry indoors. You don't ignore walls however correct?

That brings up another question. If you have Phasing teleport, can you carry people through walls?

If the person with Phasing/Teleport can carry someone, they can carry that person through walls.

Phasing/Teleport by itself, though, does not give you the ability to carry.
