Hello all,

I can patch the game, but when I hit "launch", it never goes into the game since the last patch. I tried un-installing and re-installing, but no help. The game just never launches anymore.

Anyone else ever have this problem or know how to overcome it? I tried sending messages to HCO support, but they said I'm the only person with the problem and they don't know how to fix it.

That's quite an abysmal reply, tbh. Just because nobody else has a problem, they're pretty much telling you to get lost?

When you click launch, what happens exactly? Have you checked whether your anti-virus is clashing with the program? I don't have a clue what's happening, but anti-virus interference is always a good place to check. You should take some consolation from the fact that it starts up at least for you to get to the launch screen. I'm sure a little tweak here or there should sort the problem.

I would tamper with the options in the game launcher a bunch and see what works (change full screen to windowed, change resolution, change graphics settings, etcetera)

I did go ahead and make sure my anti-virus (Norton) allows HCO to access the internet for the two files that need to do so. I also made sure my firewall was not blocking the necessary ports. Still no luck.

I play other on-line games, and none of them have a problem. It's only HCO.

I will try your ideas, Traxlenak. If that doesn't work, it looks like I'm just out of luck, which sucks, but if that doesn't work, I don't know what else I can do at this point.

Update.

Just went to go try Trax's ideas, and the game patched again. I then proceeded to change the game from "windowed" mode to "full screen" (just unchecked the box). Lo and behold...it worked!
