Colleen Wing and Misty Knight at 70-Points: Can Both Colleen and Misty be on Force?
Quote
DAUGHTERS OF THE DRAGON: When you build your force, choose a 70 or 140 point cost. In addition, each time you reveal your force, choose the green (Colleen Wing) or yellow (Misty Knight) starting line. If you chose 70 point cost, this character has the "single fist symbol" and is KO'd when the first red line is crossed. If you chose 140 point cost, this character is KO'd when the third red line is crossed.

UNIQUE CHARACTERS: If a character is Unique, only one copy of that character can be part of your force. Unique characters have a silver ring on their bases (older Unique characters may have a gold or bronze ring). A force can’t contain two Unique characters with the same name, the same set symbol, and the same collector’s number. If a character is not Unique, you may include as many copies of it on your force as you wish, within the constraints of the force’s build total.

COLLECTOR’S NUMBER: An identifying number specific to a particular character in a set.
I intend to run a Heroes for Hire Theme Team, and am considering fielding a 70-point and Colleen Wing and a 70-point Misty Knight; not that many Heroes for Hire options out there!?!
I have 2 separate figures.
Question the first: are "44a" and "44b" dials considered different collector numbers? There are no numbers on the dial, the only collector's number is the "044" on the base.
Question the second: If legal to field both 70-pts figs, if I remove one of rhe sculpts, would that be considered a MOD? I would field the Colleen sculpt on the 044a Colleen dial, and the Misty sculpt on the 044b Misty dial. Would I technically need (2) Duo figs with "unmodified" sculpts in case
My primary Venue is pretty laid back, but if the team works as well as I think it will, I may play it at more competitive Venues; I would love to have input from a Rules Arb before I do so.
Thanks in advance for your input!!
For those interested, here is my proposed team:
ASM046 Ghost Rider 145
ASM079 Brother Voodoo 79
ASM044a Colleen Wing 70
- The Hand ATA 7
ASM044b Misty Knight 70
- The Hand ATA 7
ASMS101 Eye of Agamotto 12
= 390 pts all ASM!
It was ruled with Shazadam! that you could not. I do not believe this is any different. Also, I believe that there is only 1 printed collector number on the dial, and that is what you go by for declaring something to be Unique.

Darn, I forgot all about the Shazadam ruling!?!
I'll have to make a pitch to the Judge, I'll take losses in all the games if I can field the team.
With all the figures who SHOULD be silver-ringed and are not, WK/NECA had to put a silver ring on the first 3-D version of Colleen and Misty, making them illegal to be separated!?!

Errata?
WK just has the angle on stupidity these days.
Soon enough, a dictionary entry on WK will be synonymous with stupidity.
Are you a PbP'r (Play By Poster)? Come and check out www.creationmatrix.com; we've got EVERYTHING.
But for shazadam it was just choosing starting lines, here it's 44a and 44b, primes are listed the same way and you can play stare fire and black fire On the same team

The silver ring is because of the token removing power, in my opinion anyway.
This, IMO is the biggest disappointment in the ASM set. They finally gave us Colleen Wing and Misty Knight, and force us to use a duo, or one of the two as individuals, but not both.
I may not have gotten the "perfect" 616 Spider-Man, but I got a couple pretty darned good versions of Spider-Man. I got NO option to run Colleen and Misty as two individual non-pog pieces. If WK had not made this piece Unique, I would keep two and pull one of the ladies off each. I really don't understand why they DIDN'T do this.
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash

Or, instead of making them an LE, and giving us the two singles in the set, or leaving the Duo in the set, and makeing two LE's...

If you stare too long, you can burn your retinas...
