This question is rather simple: Can a character that is friendly to your force due to the effect of Mind Control become the pilot of a vehicle also friendly to your force?
To give you a situation, the force consisted the Batcycle (Piloted), Thanos (GG049), Brother Voodoo (ASM017b).
After the first round of the game, the player had decided to use Thanos' speed ability:
Quote
TELEPORT MY GREATEST ENEMIES: Thanos can use Plasticity. Give Thanos a power action and place the two highest point value target opposing characters in squares adjacent to Thanos.
Thanos was the the edge of the Map, with a Batcycle immediately to his right as well as a second Batcycle to his left. The player placed each character in front of a Batcycle and adjacent to Thanos. Brother Voodoo was in the same row as one of the placed characters, and had an action token from a previous action, so the player used conditional Mind Control from his trait:
Quote
When Brother Voodoo has exactly one action token, he can use Mind Control as a free action. He takes no damage from this use of Mind Control and he and his target modify their attack values by +1 this turn.
The player succeeded. Now, the player used the controlled character (it doesn't have Battle Fury) to give it a free action and make it become a pilot to the adjacent Batcycle; What happens?
The ruling made: When the character is given the free action, it is removed from the map and placed on the Batcycle's character card. Since it is a pilot, only the vehicle can eject it. The piece is removed from the map until the player either ejects it or the Vehicle is destroyed.
I wonder how many more times this question is going to get asked?
12 - 13 hundred more times should suffice.

As many as it takes; we had our judge do a search on this forum and checked the player's guide and we could not find it. This thread is a follow-up so that we have the correct ruling for next time.

Thanks.
then he needs to work on his search-fu. i did a search for mind control vehicles and found a rather extensive thread on the subject.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
