What's the last movie you saw? How was it? 2: The Sequel
Starting this up again.
Last night after getting home from seeing Monsters University, which was enjoyable enough, though less inspired than other Pixars I've seen, I expected to fall asleep to This is 40. That didn't happen. Solidly comedic drama or dramatic comedy. A couple scenes made me laugh pretty hard and then a few were cringe-worthy. Overall I enjoyed it, though you have to overlook these people making dumb choices which I can do since I know enough people that make similarly dumb choices.

The first 5~10 minutes was pretty hilarious. After that, it was OK. I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell as a leading role, I like him better as a supporting cast member for the most part. Though some roles are so him (Anchorman, Step Brothers)
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I was hoping that S.L Jackson and Dwayne Johnson would play bigger roles in the movie, and was surprised they were out so quickly. They really did steal the show in the first 10 minutes.
Probably wouldn't watch it again.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
It was surprisingly better than i thought it would be.
Plot? so-so. but it IS only a summer action movie & just an excuse to blow #%&* up
Plausibility of plot? weak. but #%&* blows up throughout!
Entertaining enough at matinee prices on a too hot/rainy day

Weak or simple plot with very high visual destruction entertainment... well, that's to be expected from a Roland Emmerich disaster-themed movie.
1984 film with Mel Gibson, Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Liam Neeson. It's about a Royal Navy ship circumnavigating the world for a trade scheme in the late 18th century.
Good story, great acting, and historically accurate!!
Watched V/H/S 2. Really enjoyed it, probably more than the first one. A different tone to this one, more campy style horror than spooky/scary type horror. Some great jump scares. Definitely worth getting a couple of friends together and getting it on demand if you enjoy horror.
This is the End-very funny, but cutting 15-20 minutes would have made it flow much better.
Frankly, I'm wondering what *did* get cut and how much? This was the kind of movie where the DVD is probably going to be packed with them just ad-libbing stuff.
Anyways, I just got done watching A Good Day to Die Hard.
####ing awful. The worst of the series and after Live Free and Die Hard, that is saying something.

Wow. That is saying something. Live Free and Die Hard was at least watchable. Not good mind you, but watchable.
That's a series that just needs to go away. Die Hard is one of my favorite action movies ever but yeah, time to retire John.
