I'm trying figure out when fielding the Justice League Team Base, under what conditions can you Solo Adventure Superman and Wonder Woman in subsequent turns, then Merge them into the Superman and Wonder Woman Duo fig. (a filthy question, I know)
With that in mind, please let me know if the following is correct, assuming all seven figs are attached to the JLTB. (BTW this is very wordy and I thank you for your patience, but this is some complex stuff!)
The SwitchClix Superman has two ranks: Experienced at 120 points and Vet at 240 points.
The SwitchClix Wonder Woman also has two ranks: Experienced at 100 points and Vet at 150 points.
I field the Vet JL Team Base (600) and I poop out Superman while the TB is in its Vet range on the dial. Superman will come out on his top click and be worth 240 points. The next turn, I poop out Wonder Woman under the same conditions, then (assuming they're adjacent) take a free action and Merge them into the 350-point version of the Duo fig. That means I can poop out up to another 210 points of figs.
If, however, the JLTB takes damage and gets knocked into the Exp range of its dial after Superman gets pooped out, when I Solo Adventure Wonder Woman she will be on the Exp part of her dial. If I try to Merge them, they would become the 250-point version. That means I can poop out up to another 260 points of figs.
Now I field the Exp version of the JLTB (400) or the Vet version has taken damage to get into the Exp range of its dial and I try to do the same thing. Superman comes out at 120 points and Wonder Woman comes out at 100 points. That means I can't Merge them at all since they don't total at least 250 points.
Is this right?

Damage does not affect the cost of the base. If you start with 600 points, then it will be considered 600 no matter how much damage you take.
Superman will be 240 when brought in as blue or red as the 240 point line is the one to the left of those starting numbers (according to the units section).
He will only come in as 120 when you bring him in on yellow.
Similarly, Wonder Woman is 150 for red and blue and 100 for yellow (again, according to the units section.
It sounds to me like you are dropping point costs erroneously.
If what you're saying is true, is the following correct?
JLTB Vet or Exp: Superman will be worth 240 points and Wonder Woman will be worth 150 points. That means any time I Solo Adventure and then Merge them regardless of where the TB is on its dial, the Supes/WW Duo fig will be the 350-point version since 240 and 150 total 390 points, more than the 350-point value of the Duo fig. The click that the Duo fig is on depends on how much damage the individual Supes and WW figs have taken, if any.
JLTB Rookie: Superman will be worth 120 points and Wonder Woman will be worth 100 points. If I field the JLTB Rookie version, I can never Merge them because they will be worth 220 points and they need to be at least 250 points.

No. There are two factors at work when using Solo Adventure.
1) The point cost of the team base. This is set at the beginning of the game. For the JLTB, assuming a full 7 figures on the dial, this is going to be 300, 400, or 600. This value does not change during the course of the game and is used to determine the point total you cannot cross for figures popped off of the base. These point costs have nothing to do with where the individual figures' dials are set when being popped off of the base. That is determined by...
2) The colored click numbers. On the dial of the team base the numbers are colored red, blue, or yellow. The color of those numbers determines where you set the individual dials when popped off by setting the dial to the corresponding color. In turn, where you start on the figure determines what its point cost is.
That means that you cannot have more than 600 points worth of solo figures on the map at any given time.
Now, the first four clicks of the TB's dial have a red click number. If you solo a figure on any of these clicks, it will enter the game on its red click and it will cost the value that it would cost on the next starting line to its left. In the case of Superman he comes in on click #1 and costs 240. In the case of Wonder Woman she comes in on click #1 and costs 150.
The second four clicks are blue. If you solo a figure on any of these clicks, it will enter the game on its blue click and it will cost the value that it would cost on the next starting line to its left. In the case of Superman he comes in on click #4 and costs 240. In the case of Wonder Woman she comes in on click #3 and costs 150.
The remaining clicks are yellow. If you solo a figure on any of these clicks, it will enter the game on its yellow click and it will cost the value that it would cost on the next starting line to its left. In the case of Superman he comes in on click #7 and costs 120. In the case of Wonder Woman she comes in on click #6 and costs 100.
Well, except for one question. If I field the Exp JLTB and I Merge Supes and WW, what click would the dial start on? The top click of the 350-point version, click #4 if Supes does the Merge, click #3 if WW the Merge, or somewhere else?

As best as i can tell, Superman would come out on Click 4 and Wonder Woman would come out on click 3 if you're on the "Experienced" section of the TB dial.
That said, the merged character would be as many clicks from its starting line as the character who took the action is from its starting line. So if Wondy's on click 3, the duo will be 3 clicks from its starting line. In this case, I recommend Wonder Woman and not Superman, who's a click farther into the dial.
Just remember that even if you merge into a 350 point figure, you're still considered to have 390 detached from the base.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
That means that you cannot have more than 600 points worth of solo figures on the map at any given time.
Has this been confirmed now then? There was some discussion about it ages ago and i never heard the resolution.(not saying there wasn't one.)
So, if I'm playing a 100 point team base, solo adventure a 70 point character, and that character dies... can I now solo adventure a 90 point character?
Also I have a hypothetical.
1. JLTB Solo Adventure's Wonder Woman @150
2. Dormammu Selects Wonder Woman for Empowered Minion.
Quote
EMPOWER A MINION: Once per game as a free action, choose another friendly character of 150 points of less. That character modifies their combat values by +1.
3. JLTB uses A Team Reunited to absorb Wonder Woman. Who is a replacement character.
4. Where does empowered minion go? JLTB? Oblivion? If wonder Woman pops back off does she have it again?

I don't know if there's any possibility of it coming down from above as being different, but as far as I've ever known that's how it is supposed to work.

Wonder Woman is not a replacement character.
My personal opinion is that each pop-off constitutes a "new" character, so to speak.

I thought that ages ago it came down from WK(or rules deps.) that they were replacement characters. And that's why you can/can't do some stuff. Like mind control them to solo adventure/team reunited. however at the time at least it left a huge vacuum of other issues that were never elaborated upon.

Thanks for clarifying the first issue. We've all been playing it wrong locally. :/
I don't believe that any of the oranges in that thread were oranges at that time.
Additionally, there was a point when the RA jumped into a thread and declared that they were replacements, but he later conceded that his phrasing was a bit hasty...they were not actual replacements, though for purposes like these, the same kinds of restrictions would be applied (no MC, etc.).
