NANOARMOR: Choose a character. The character ignores damage dealt by objects as well as all modifiers to damage dealt to or taken by this character due to objects.

RELICS: Certain immobile objects are listed as a “Relic.” A relic will be listed with a range of numbers. Relics can’t be destroyed.

I understand that a character with nanormaor would ignore damage dealt form a relic, as they are objects. But, what about resources? Take for example the Power Plant or the book of Skull: rings and hammers are relics, but are they still relics when assigned to the Resource? Or do they become effects of the game, not being relics any more?

For example, the Electro Blast (When making a ranged combat attack, this character modifies its damage and range values by +1 and has an additional "target".): assigned through the Power Plant would allow the character using nanoarmor to ignore the +1 to damage it gives?

It depends on the Resource. Some are still Relics, some are not. However Nano-Armor says "Choose a character. The character ignores damage dealt by objects as well as all modifiers to damage dealt to or taken by this character due to objects."

So it is really going to break down to individual questions. Like if You have a Phoenix Force and the Cyclops Fragment is assigned to X, then your figure with Nano-Armor will ignore the +2 Damage (but not the whole attack). That's about the most likely "help" Nano-Armor will provide methinks.

Sorry, missed your other question. They are using the Ring "As if it were a relic" so Yes, I think you would Ignore the +1 damage.

OK, thanks. It's how I supoosed it worked: with the gauntlet, for example, it's pretty clear, yes. It's the UB or the BoS the ones that made me doubt.

No reason to be sorry. If I came off as "you should've searched because this is brought up constantly!!!" it was unintended. This definitely isn't a common question. Did you use this sites search or Google? Because you should use Google. Type in "hcrealms ______" then your search terms. Sometimes I can find more obscure stuff because I remember some of the people that Posted in those threads (often times myself).
