Ignore the dates on the website, they are updated. Haven't really seen anything new in the FAQ, but the Tournament Rules have some pretty big changes, in terms of Full Win victory conditions, determining initiative, and adding the Escalation rules.
I've never participated in a tournament, and likely won't, but it is interesting to see how they rule them. I know the win vs modified win was a bit controversial before. What was the full win victory condition before?

You had to kill at least 30 more points than your opponent for the full win. Now, you only need to kill 12 more points than your opponent. So, a lot more full wins will be awarded.
The following steps must be performed before each game begins and may be
performed before the TO officially announces the start of a tournament round:
1. Each player places his squad outside of the play area next to his
assigned player edge.
2. Both players reveal all components in their squads and assign ID tokens
to any ships that have a duplicate on the same team. If both players
fielded squads from the same faction, ID tokens are assigned to all ships
(see Mirror Matches on page 3). One player must exclusively display the
white numerals of his ID tokens; the other player displays only the black
numerals.
3. Each player shuffles his Damage deck thoroughly and presents it to his
opponent. His opponent may shuffle and cut the deck if desired.
4. Players determine initiative. The player with the lowest squad point total
decides which player has initiative. If both players are tied with the same
squad point total, toss a coin. The winner of the coin toss decides who
has initiative.

Well that is a most welcome and very big change!

Captain Yorr
If, through his pilot ability, Captain Yorr
intercepts a stress token that is part of the
cost of triggering an ability on another ship
(such as Soontir Fel or Opportunist), that
ability’s effect does not resolve.
If Captain Yorr intercepts a stress token that
was the result of an ability (such as Push the
Limit), that ability resolves, then Yorr receives
the stress token.
=========================
Not surprising, but I was kinda hoping it would go the other way.
=================================
Chewbacca
If a ship equipped with Chewbacca suffers a critical
damage, the player may look at that card before choosing
whether to use Chewbacca’s ability to discard it.
If a ship equipped with Chewbacca is about to suffer its
last damage before it would be destroyed, Chewbacca
may be used to prevent that one damage and recover
a shield.

Really? Is that new?
