I have been playing for a while and have a basic game plan, a couple of heavy hitters, some flyer with interesting powers and my longrange specialists.
Here is my question, I will be playing in my first tournament soon and there are no duplications allowed.
So my to ranged pieces are Bullseye red and Boomerang blue..... pretty reasonable cost and with the sinister syndicate ability it's almost like having two Bullseye's as long as I keep them side by side. The tournament is 400 pts so they take up not even 1/4 of my point value at 77 for the both of them.
Any thoughts on the matter... or any other choices you would suggest in their place. I have a lot of pieces so just suggest anything. If I don't have the piece you suggest I'll borow, buy or steal it from someone if I like the idea.
Add taxis like Rookie Vulture and Exp Wasp to get them into position. Also, if you can fit a piece with barrier, do so; it protects them from being retaliated upon after they shoot.
I would add at least one doombot to it so that the doombot, boomerang & bullseye can all share the same attack value (as long as they are next to each other).

have you thought of Vet Pyro? He can't share the attack of Bullseye but he does have barrier and some other cool little tricks plus I believe he is slightly cheaper and his numbers hold out a little better. Throw in a Psylocke for the dual 2 click energy explosion plus a doombot that can share attck values and now has free movement from pyro. Or maybe a dr.strange, a flyer with enhancement, after a click. He is a good piece for relatively cheap.

This is just off the top of my head but it gives you tons of free movement some support, probabilty control, big damage(at range), outwit, and perplex. The key here would be to stay back and with your mobility it shouldn't be a problem. Keep Strange and Psylocke close to either pyro or bullseye (I know that he has RCE but enhancement works well with him because of his two bolts he can hit two people for 3 or maybe more if the doombots use the shield abilty. if placed right you could go all out and use pyro to attack at a range of 9 two energy explosions for 5 damage each. side by side that would leave lots and lots of dead people. Well that is probably more than you wanted but there it is, hope it does well for you.

I would not go without at least one brusier figure that does 3 or better 4 damage.
I would think the tourney to be marvel only? then try this:

Vet taskmaster is MOD TA And So are the doombots So send them out as vet doom taskmaster and e doomboot and bulllseye Now you have 4 range pieces that attack at 11 and 12 or 12 if all adjacent. Move range into place. Hit anything that moves in range. V taskmaster has lots to add to this setup as BCF perplex ect. IT's exactly what you were doing before but with MOD TA people.
U moondraggon and Herc stay together. I seem to like this pair but if you see lots of Mind controllers i would use vulture as the taxi for herc. and maybe then carry destiny with moondragoon or the vulture destiny combo in the rear but in range for PC.
paramedic run from people and support.
Big weakness: no outwit, but maybe PC is better with this team.
Pluses with thise team: leadership, no one person over 100 points as a big target, Flexable with lots of choices.
you could even swap out non Team ability people like herc /moondragoon for other team abilities to give your
MOD people even more choices or if its mixed throw in robin for than batman stealth for just 22 points. Needs outwit so instead of robin maybe even Vet nightwing at 73.
Main point is if you like the vet bulleye and SS TA then mixiing in a MOD TA player like Vet Taskmaster with a 12 AV gives you nice attack values to cheap range taxis like doombots with the added bunker busting EE.
Going one step further to what they suggested, if you're using lots of MOD guys inc. someone like V Taskmaster or Ultron, then you don't even really NEED Bullseye for his high attack value...use someone with a smaller point cost (like Boomerang) who can do the same damage...stealing the MOD attack value Boomerang is just as good as Bullseye but cheaper. Gives you a few more points to work with elsewhere.
